The men’s and women’s track teams each finished second in the Pac-12 championships at UCLA this weekend. Oregon won both titles, narrowly winning the women’s meet 185-182. There were plenty of standout performances, especially from a team standpoint as the women scored 34 points in the 200 meters, going 1-3 and 5-8 in the race. The men scored 24 points in the same race going 1-3.
Sprinter Andre De Grasse won the 100 meters with a meet and school record time of 9.97 seconds (+0.6), breaking the previous USC record of 10.02 by James Sanford in 1980.
Adoree Jackson, who won the long jump on Saturday, finished seventh in the 100 meters and ran a leg on the winning 4×400 relay team.
