Post Of The Week: Stanford Band Not Coming To Coliseum In 2015

There will be no Stanford band at the Coliseum on Sept. 19 following the announcement the band is barred from traveling for a year for violations involving alcohol, hazing and sexual harrassment.

More important, with the band not coming to the Coliseum, can USC band director Art Bartner finally bury the “Countermarch,” the no-longer funny imitation of the Stanford band that dates back to at least 1981.

  1. This is like deja vu, all over again…. Scott, why are you rubbing this in our faces?……..

  2. Crowd seemed to like it on the video, and I always like it when I’m at the game. Can we finally bury you since you are no longer funny or post anything of relevance.

  3. Are we all supposed to make the same comments we did when this was first posted three days ago?

  4. Wolfman, if it’s time for summer reruns on this blog, then you should re-post the video of your encounter with Ms. Pflugrad. Now THAT was a classic.

  5. Hey idiots, can you read? He’s just saying this was the post of the week, like play of the week, video of the week…….

  6. First of all Wolf you putz, these are students who are not paid performers. They are also working on graduating. Performing new shows every week just to make you happy is not practical or fair to the band members. Second, nothing the Stanford band does is entertaining, musically sophisticated or amusing. They are rude, crude and obnoxious.

    • In your opinion. However in my opinion, the Stanford band is 3x better than the SUCC garage band – especially when they’re dissing Klown U.

    • Over half of the students in the marching band are paid stipends for participating in the TMB…per their own website
