USC Baseball Update

Wtih graduation last Friday, USC played its three-game series against Cal on Saturday-Monday. The Bears won 2 of 3 games and the Trojans (35-18, 16-11) are now in fourth place, 1.5 games behind second-place Oregon State.

    • No way sas. ASU needs to win worse than Klown U. A fourth place SUCC finish won’t make the regional playoffs.

      SUCC needed to win out to have a chance at second place – to bad sas, SUCC choked again, because SUCC doesn’t do well with quality competition.

      • We’ve beaten 3 teams in the top 10 RENTS…including your Ruins. C’mon I know you’re smarter than what actually spits out of your mouth. We’re not playing our best ball, we should get in the tournament.

  1. The pac – 11 will send at least four teams to the regional. Winning 2 of 3 from ASU should get the Trojans a little better seed. Hubbs has overused some of his pitchers all season making them less effective at this stage especially Huberman. Giving up 9 walks vs. Cal on Monday is a sign of tired arms. The team started 15 – 1 which has dissipated to almost a .500 team since then.
