The former Louisville guard is transferring to USC, according to Scout.com. Not a big surprise as I mentioned yesterday, since he played club basketball with USC assistant Jason Hart and reportedly intended to live with Hart when he tried to attend Taft in Woodland Hills.
To say he has some baggage is an understatement. He was suspended nine games by the NCAA last season “it was determined that his family received preferential treatment related to housing prior to Aaron’s enrollment at (Louisville).”
He also attended three high schools: Mater Dei, Taft (where the Southern Section ruled him ineligible) and Rainier Beach in Seattle. He averaged 1.3 points at Louisville last season and Coach Rick Pitino was not complimentary.
“He just doesn’t have a Louisville attitude. He’s not a Louisville man in terms of the way we practice, the way we go about it,” Pitino said. “If he doesn’t, he’ll be at another school. That’s the way it will be. He’s never going to step on the court until he gets that attitude.”
Why didn’t you mention this “baggage” yesterday, Scott?
Maybe Enfield should take a “Bad News Bears” approach and recruit a girl.
ROTFLOL!
Aaron averaged 1.3 ppg at Louisville last year. Just what Andyain’t- winning needs: another loser.
The state of SUCC’s men’s basketball team is ridiculous. Its so bad Klown is now reduced to recruiting rejects and problems from other Universities.
OLAF….the kid was suspended for nine games…can’t you read English?…. sure, his family received preferential treatment related to housing (PRIOR to his enrollment at Louisville), but he paid the price that was levied by the NCAA… what would you have preferred ?… a lifetime ban by the NCAA?… no second chances?…..even Soso Jamabo has problems PRIOR to his enrollment at UCLA….
No problems with attitude. Chances are very good (no chg’s filed yet) Soso will be running over SUCC’s cupcake defense for 3 – 4 years.
RENTS. Mora got away like a cat burglar when he and Ulbrich lied to Roquan Smith. So cut the kid some slack.
sas what do you know about the Smith debacle?
Kindly state your information and source please. Very few people know what actually happen, and I doubt you’re privy to real story.
But sas, you take your best shot. Can’t wait for your Josh Shaw whopper.
NO RENTS. You don’t know. I KNOW because I actually subscribe to the juicy websites that have confirmed these stories. And just to let you know Brandon Huffman works for a Ucla website and Blair Angulo who works for a USC ( is a graduate of UCLA) have all confirmed this. It’s not a secret. I don’t make stuff to sound interesting.
Confirmed what? Knock off the gibberish and tell me what Mora and Urlich did.
Ex.: Josh Shaw lied about rescuing his nephew, lied about the reason he jumped from the second story balcony, continued to lie to Klown U coaching staff, and then finally confessed he was running from the cops.
Now sas what precisely did Mora and Urlich do to R. Smith.
They specifically told Roquan Smith and his father for Two years. That UCLA offered certain degrees or classes that they in fact did not. It’s not a mistake. Every coach. Specifically the HEAD coach knows was what classes, courses, degrees, subjects are at a school like UCLA. Roquan Smith from Georgia was actually in love with Ulbrich. Smith visited UCLA as a junior and they were telling him all this. And here’s where Mora needs to get kicked in the b@//$, on signing day when Smith finally found out from the Georgia and Michigan coaches that UCLA has been misleadi him Ulbrich finally told him that he was leaving for the NFL. Mora was still pressing the kid to sign. Mora was saying he didn’t know if Ulbrich was coming back when he already heard the answer the day before. EVEN AFTER SMITH HEARD FROM ULBRICH’s MOUTH, MORA WAS STILL PLAYING DUMB SAYING HES NOT LEAVING.
You’re reporting hearsay. Did you get your information from Mora, R. Smith, Ulbrich or all three?
Not hearsay. If you can’t handle the facts then I give up. It’s the truth everyone who follows college football recruiting knows it. I don’t have to prove my sources every time you don’t know what’s going on or don’t believe me
OLAF likes to play the “I’m from Missouri… Show Me!” card, any chance he gets…. especially when he’s backed into a corner without any factual data to support his argument…..
Garry Bleauz likes to play the West Hollywood card this week. Hope he sees his therapist.
Google Roquan Smith UCLA. But not the bruin sites. If you don’t believe me.
Come on, Roquan couldn’t google the ruin website and read for himself the majors that are listed? You are grasping now.
I’m guessing no he couldn’t. He’s a good ol country boy! Jk.
Yes Confirmed. This all stuff a Bruin fan should already know. But you’re a bunch of cowboys.
Boy, would you know a lot about rejects, being one, of course. Dr
Drunk
You mean “druk”, CowPolyFan3.0.
Sounds like a perfect fit! I especially enjoyed the part about how his family received preferential treatment for housing. The trOJan family welcomes Shaqquan with open arms!
UCLA accepted Soso Jamabo with open arms, too… so what?
Jamabo and Aaron in the same breathe – typical Karola.
How about Josh “I be a hero” Shaw that Klown U couldn’t wait to start. Result: UCLA 38 – SUCCster’s 20. You have the IQ of a Fudge bar.
And you have the IQ of a cheap bottle of Vodka
Ag majors at Cow Poly have high IQs!
I hate USC.
What’s your problem with South Carolina?
you’re still a loser 2.0

Almost as much baggage as Scotty, who got preferential treatment from Patty Boy when he was BANNED by Kiff.
CowPOlyFan3.0’s wife The Real SC Fan refers to CowPolyFan3.0 as “The Baggage” too.
He’s PERFECT!
Enjoy, Andy.
F#uck yeah, b!tches! (and by b!tches, I mean Fucla’s, of course..)
thank SATAN you showed up!! you sound like you got a little FIGHT in you!!!
the poor Dummies on here are so beat down and traumatized, it’s like pushing Don Knotts around for us Bruins!! sure it’s fun for a while, but we’re all “c’mon!!! fight back, dudes!!!!”
#DummiesLil’Helper
so Lil’ Shaq’s family got extra bennies???
poor O’Hadden is WAY past worrying about OPTICS at this point!!!
i think if Renardo Sydney showed back up wearing those funny glasses disguise, Pat would say “we WELCOME you…Mr. Bjorn Svennsarverson??”

SC basketball has to take chances with kids; for some reason the school does not attract the best players. Arizona gets the top picks, then the Back East schools get some of the West’s best.
True….Last season, USC landed a couple of top prospects in Elijah Stewart and Jordan McLaughlin. This year, Enfield has landed two four star recruits in forward Bennie Boatwright and Chimezie Metu, and now Shaqquan Aaron, who was ranked #30 by Rivals, coming out of high school……he has to sit out a year though…..with three years of eligibility remaining, if he decides to stick around….
Louisville fan here. This kid can play. Saw him live in U of L’s two Red/White scrimmages, and he’s a great shooter, and can also put the ball on the floor and score a midrange J. The NCAA screwed him, which set him back, and he was playing behind Wayne Blackshear at Louisville, so it was hard for him to find minutes as a frosh. He reminds me of a Tayshaun Prince type player. I think he’ll excel at SC.
He’s perfect for you boneheads!
viyght ung
big pickup!
That’s just what USC needs, someone who couldn’t play for a championship coach because of his attitude . Next season is not looking good for Ol’ Andy Enfied, but I’m still rooting for him, because Pat Haden put an unproven winner in a horrible position. And once again, it looks like the Athletic Administration botched up another coaching hire. Dear Pat, please go to an outside source with your next coaching hire, PLEASE!! Or you can always consult with me.
