Former USC safety Taylor Mays is signing with the Detroit Lions. He was released by the Minnesota Vikings this week. Former USC tight end Fred Davis was released Friday by the New England Patriots, where he hoped to make a comeback after a one-year suspension for violating the NFL’s substance-abuse policy.

Unbelieveable, Freddy toked his way out of a Super Bowl ring, SB Check and a spot on the Patriot roster.
I remember Taylor Mays was highly upset with Pete Carroll when he selected Earl Thomas over him in the draft, but I’m sure Mays understands now.
