  1. No

Come on kiddo, you are a football player and you might make a lot of money

So forget track, where you will be fourth best at best.

    • why bother to go to class???? why do you want to play on a football team that traditionally finishes 3rd in the DIVISION???
      FIT UNG

  2. It doesn’t matter what we think. Sark promised to Adoree Jackson when he was recruiting him that his track dreams will be allowed to be pursued.
IMO Jackson should focus on football.

    • Nice. The chance for Gold comes around only once every four years. Winning a medal for the USA is quite a feat.

      • I agree with that esp. since Sark promised him (AJ) he’d be permitted to run track. An Olympic medal winner is unique in all of sports – there is nothing to equal it – nothing.

  3. Bo, Jackie, Wilt, what do they have in common?
    they’re legends.

Let the kid jump for crissakes.

hey kid, UCLA will let you jump all spring and twice on Sundays.

    • Bucket, all of UCLA 2015 commits checked in today including Soso. Can’t wait for the fall practice to start.

  4. This past Spring Sark said Adoree needs more time to learn plays both sides of the ball. Now that hes done that he should be free to pursue Track and Field full time.

I think during the Spring however it would be really a matter of the regular USC Track Season competition training. The real Olympic training for the Trials would probably start in May at the earliest and Spring Football should be over by then.

  5. After USC wins a Nat Champ in football this season, Adoree can focus on long jump. Then he can redshirt for 2016 football season. After the Olympics, get back into football shape in Spring 2017, and win the Heisman.

    • The Summer Olympics will be over before football season starts so he doesn’t have to redshirt in 2016. If he’s really serious about the Olympics he should redshirt this season to train and avoid injury.

  6. Sure thing, why not? He’ll only have one football season left… let him do what he wants….. Freedom.

  7. AJ doesn’t like to tackle or block, so his future lies in Track and Field.

  8. Jackson will need to improve his mark big time. Finished 5th at the ncaa plus older jumpers are ahead of him. Let’s see how he does at the nationals in a few weeks to gauge his chances.

    • I believe he had the best freshman mark at the NCAAs. He had a personal best at 25 11 1/2. So has a chance improve upon that next season..
