Sean Combs Company Statement

We finally have a statement, albeit from Sean Combs’ company, Combs Enterprises, to the Associated Press:

“The various accounts of the event and charges that are being reported are wholly inaccurate,” said Nathalie Moar, a spokesperson for Combs Enterprises. “What we can say now is that any actions taken by Mr. Combs were solely defensive in nature to protect himself and his son.”

    • Young lady, the 200+ comments on this UCLA matter belie your claims of Trojan disinterest.

Freddy a glass of Ripple for the lady…

      FREDDY!!!!

  1. Take a look at the ucla blog – what a joke – no one posts – aside from the usual spear carriers they are all of them over here.

Proof positive of how dull, uninteresting and plain boring it is to be a bruin fan.

    • Wang’s blog is about as exciting to read as a recipe for guacamole ……….

      • Every time someone responds to this bruin, it gives him reason to keep posting… it gives him life. Why doesn’t everyone ignore him and he will go away?

    • OTIS….boyo you are not quite correct…Until UCLA comes up with a BASKETBALL team like yours…..You got us beat hands down….SPEAKING OF Spear Chuckers……
      fit ung

    • You are WAY OFF BASE dude – the guy Alosi is a scrub of a human being that TRIPS players as they run down sidelines – and now he is yelling at Diddy’s kid – FIGURE IT OUT

      • Oh my God, somebody yelled at a player for skipping his workouts. What a monster! I am sure that Marv Goux never got into anyone’s face. Get real. Players get yelled at. Man up and grow a pair. P Diddy went all Pat Haden and ran down to defend his baby boy.

        • The obvious difference, besides the kettlebell, is that the university police wasn’t brought into it, but I digress……nothing to see here…. move along……

          • Running down to save his boy, like Pat Haden coming to Sark’s rescue at Stanford.

        • I have no problem with Aliosi getting on Combs. Reports said that he’s been missing workouts lately and wasn’t giving it all in that particular workout (per scout.Ucla). Strength coaches can come off as drill sergeants. Sometimes you need to be really expletive and colorful to motivate. Aundrey Walker OT was rumored to be a kid that had coaches yelling at him a lot. He washed out his senior season. I feel for the kid. His dad took the situation beyond what it should. IMO Diddy or any parent should probably let their son deal with it on their own. Maybe he shouldve asked “is their a reason my sons in the doghouse today.” In a civil manner. He didn’t. He went postal and embarrassed his son, family, and the football program. I have to say Haden had no business on the field in Stanford, but they are two totally different situations. He butted into an argument when he should’ve stayed in the press box. Diddy stormed into a coaches office, demanded he hang up the phone during a call and physically assaulted the poor shmuck. Not the same ballpark. Still we don’t know exactly what happened, but from our point of view this father was beyond out of control. And his son is probably gonna have this in his head at all times going forward when it comes to his football days as a bruin.

    • With this punk’s record why would anyone expect one? Truly unbelievable what a monster this clown is – welcome to what passes for ‘culture’ in the 21st Century.

  2. You Bruins are going to have to pick a side in this one pretty soon here.
    Who’s it going to be?
The cheap shot assistant coach who has been blackballed from the NFL or the rapper whose son got onto the UCLA football team in a publicity stunt now gone horribly wrong?

    • Forget it Son, this has no legs. Everyone is laughing it off except a few of our more rabid fans.

Let it go, it’ll end up destroying you like Daryll Issa and his Beghazi hearings. Nothing there and no one cares.

      Freddy, my cape!

      Freddy?

      • Allowing four Americans to be butchered, covering it up with the absurd lie that an internet video* causes jihad, using a technicality to enforce shari’a on the video’s creator, and then trying to deflect responsibility for all of it (as you do) by asking, “What does it matter now?!” is hardly “nothing.”

*The video had terrible production values but was factually true. That’s why Muslims (and their Useful Idiots on the left) were offended.

The only people who should be enraged at that video are cinephiles.

          • Everyone says she’s unstoppable. even Hugh Hewitt a famous conservative pundit. Maybe we better get used to the idea of her being Prez. Her husband was pretty good.

          • And the entire world is STILL feeling the ill effects of Slick Willie’s incompetent “leadership”……while some may find his “Aw, shucks” drawl to be charming, I’d let his actions (and the results) do the talking….and “wifey poo” is far worse……..

          • Listen, Tiger, if budget surpluses, world peace and office BJ’s are a by-product incompetent leadership, sign me up!!

          • Be careful what you wish for, Bucket…. a country being run by Billary may be in your immediate future…..and I can hardly wait to hear what her foreign policy will be…..

          • The budget surplus was due, in part, to the Republican Congress. To Bill’s credit, he went with the flow in matters that helped the nation several times.

As for “world peace,” Bill Clinton aided jihad’s rebirth (no, I’m not referring to his fecklessness in letting UBL escape repeatedly, and I’m not saying that George W. Bush was much better) by showing weakness in Somalia, bombing only to distract from his perjuries and obstructions of justice, and — worst of all — bombing Christians in Yugoslavia defending themselves against Islam.

          • Bill was smart enough to listen to the popular will.

In view of what Obama’s been able to do with the support of neither the Constitution, We the People, Common Sense, nor Basic Human Decency, Hillary may not have to follow in her husband’s more practical footsteps.

If you’ve got the Media and the Supreme Court in your back pocket — not to mention quite a few RINOs — the sky’s the limit!

          • This certainly isn’t how I envisioned my Golden Years to be……..

          • Thanks for “cheering” me up!… LOL……any suggestions on where to live the expat lifestyle?…..I’m seriously considering Roatán in Honduras…….

          • I have no idea.

I was just reading Davy Crockett’s letter opposing Andrew Jackson/Martin Van Buren/the Democratic Party’s injustices toward the Cherokee, and he (Davy) said that if Van Buren were to be elected, he would leave the country and go to Texas. (A timeless sentiment, apparently.)

As long as the Constitution exists, this is the best place to be.

Perhaps, like the Alamo, this is the place to make a last stand in defense of Liberty.

          • Bill’s strength was that he was able to adjust his policy to the will of the people, which meant some good for the American people.

Despite one violation after another, Obama’s shown the ability to usurp the Constitution almost at-will (with even Republicans’ help).

I doubt if Hillary will be provided the same cover by the media (although she’s doing pretty well, so far).

        • Mr. Matamoros, I agree with Mr. Dadieaux, I don’t understand what you’re opinionating about.

    • Until this morning, I didn’t even realize that guy was working for UCLA.

  3. Quick Off Topic: I just read a story from a credible source
DanW that Iman Marshall is dominating these player run practices.

    • I wouldn’t call Dan Weber unreliable, but I would not exactly call him credible. He works for a subscription-based fan-site, and he is only going to criticize players so much, because subscribers don’t want to hear that players are not as good as hyped (they like to blame coaches for a player’s inability to live up to his star rating).

Last year he posted breathless reports of Chris Hawkins’ development at CB. Hawkins struggled and his now trying to get on the field as a nickel safety. And this year Kessler’s accuracy is breathtaking and his arm has never been stronger. We will see.

DW is more credible than Scottie, since DW actually attends practices and attempts to speak to players and coaches. But where he works really shapes his reporting too much. Like his constant criticism of the University for not being more like Florida State (Football Uber Alles). Subscribers eat that stuff up. Walter Cronkite he ain’t.

      • I get your take on Weber. But if you watch the videos of practice Marshall is in a league of his own. I know it’s ONLY PRACTICE but for the 4th straight day he’s been the standout. True freshman are supposed to be learning and keeping their heads above water. They’re not supposed to be outplaying veterans.

        • You don’t get to become the No. 1 DB in the nation without having skills. But Marshall is a frosh, he will miss assignments, he will get burned from time to time.

          • Maybe. Darrell Rideaux says that Marshall should dethrone Adoree quickly as the starting CB.

          • I wouldn’t say “dethrone” as much as it allows Adoree to concentrate more on offense, which is where he is needed, since USC really doesn’t have an open-field, breakaway threat.

          • My thoughts also. That’s how Rideaux feels. And Rideaux had some good points saying Kevon Seymour needs to show that he’s a player who can make a mistake and then come back and make a play. If not you have Adoree Jackson and Iman Marshall who can certainly get the job done.

My prediction independent Geeorge: Iman Marshall freshmen defensive player of the year.

          • The thiing is thatAdoree was the best lock-down corner on the team. He is a little small for press coverage, but there were a lot of time Adoree was left alone the the safeties cheated to Seymour’s side.

          • I’ll just say it. Seymour was a liability. Play after play. That ASU game was one of the worse I’ve ever seen from an SC cornerback. He better get it together. I keep hearing how in the spring he got better. I won’t believe it till I see it. I’m pulling for Seymour, but he’s lucky that Adoree is gonna be on the offensive side of the ball at times, because Iman & Adoree are determined to be out there together. I’ve heard from too many people that Imans work ethic is above the rest for being 18 yrs old. I only want the best players out there. Whether it’s a freshmen or sophomore. You need playmakers at CB in the Pac 12.

      • Btw. Weber will definitely let you know when a player is playing down or getting embarrassed.

  4. Imagine little Diddy, who can barely throw a football 10 yds, having to defend his mini-son against shunned NFL miscreant Sal “Oops, Watch Your Step!” Alosi, with bruin kettlebells in their rundown high school facility. Fight, Fight, Fight!

  5. UCLA coaches lie to recruits, so it’s only natural for the parents of their athletic program to do the same.

  6. It’s all about owning LA including football, basketball, baseball and now the media.
On the negative side, this will kill UCLA recruiting in NYC……

    • Being on top is one thing. OWNING is another. 11 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS IN FOOTBALL IS CALLED OWNING LOS ANGELES.

      • Give it up, SAS, they beat us every year and all our so called championships are mythicial. not worth the paper they’re printed on 🙁

        Freddy…oh forget it.

        • Rod, Rod, Rod! Mr. Dadieaux,
I’m 33 years of age. Ucla hasn’t came anywhere near a national title in my time. They rent the Rose Bowl from USC.
Three wins is on top, but USC WILL ALWAYS BE KING!

          #USCWILLALWAYSBEKING!

        • Coach Rod,

UCLA saying they own football is like USC saying they own basketball. It’s blasphemy. It’s like the Chicago Cubs claiming they own baseball. Three wins is very admirable, but that’s where the buck stops. Come on Rod. You won like 11 baseball titles. You’re a born winner. Three wins are nice. A win over the Trojans is awesome, but try winning the big one in January. You do that and you own LA.

  7. What he left out was, “and the CD I am now producing that will be in a CD container shaped like a kettlebell. Be sure to look for it next time you are at Best Buy!

  8. Sean Combs hired Mark Geragos, the famous spin doctor attorney who made Chris Brown out to be an Alter Boy. So give him a couple of weeks before he spins the story to look like Combs was a victim, and all of the UCLA coaches were out to get him…LMAO
