ZAIRE.USCUSC’s blowout victory over Notre Dame turned the quarterback position according to Malik Zaire, who discussed it and believes it helped him win the job. I’m sure USC was gratified to help.

  1. Well let’s see who plays better Golson @ FL St. or Zaire @ Notre Dame – 2nd year qb De’Andre Johnson for FL St. accused of battery.

Some would say Zaire is turning lemons into lemonade – sounds like just another ‘all about me’ quarterback based on how bad the team had played before he was ‘thrown in’

    • Me, me, me! No warm ups, no nothing. Get real. You play for Notre Dame! First of all shut up and be happy that you were playing at all. Secondly, he acts like he brought them back and made a big comeback elevating him as the new starter.

  2. Can anyone else find anyone anywhere in the Pac-12 that has the stupidity to mock one’s entire offense until ‘I’ arrived?

If that is what Notre Dame is touting as a leader then let’s all wait when the losses start piling up Zaire, what your big mouth has to say then.

Notre Dame plays TX, GA Tech, MA, Navy and USC at South Bend. The only tough foe on the road is Clemson and finally @ Stanford.

Notre Dame better hope that Syracuse, Louisville, Cincinnati or BYU aren’t picked up by the Big-12 because when that happens the ACC is looking less and less relevant.

  3. Well, the kid is a kid, not an experienced orator.

Being a high profile athlete (anybody playing for a major college was all-world at the high school level) will create a somewhat egotistical attitude. But isn’t that what you need in a quarterback?
