  1. Great for USC! Boxberger! Continue the tradition – Seaver, Bill Lee, Johnson, Zito, Prior

This is the sole ‘all star game’ that anyone bothers to look at or should. MLB Commissioner Manfred should set up ‘pitching machines’ for the home run contest – speed set between 75 – 90 mph – each batter gets 15 balls to hit – done and done.

That poor sap last year that started the contest who played for the Twins and the totally intimidated relative who couldn’t get the ball even close to the plate was a real mess.

    • Prior was gonna be the next perennial all star until his injuries. He had big time stuff. He was legit.

  2. Congratulations to Boxberger. Fight On!

Speaking of All Stars….My son’s All Star team which I am also a coach are still alive!!!! We just beat YUCAIPA, Ca (American) 9-6. Still in the winners bracket. And another game tomorrow!!!!!!!
