USC Picture Of The Day

USC.STANFORD

I’ve never seen this picture before right after the Stanford game as Steve Sarkisian celebrates with Pat Haden. Was it the high point of the season?

  1. A few days ago you were complaining that not enough of today’s coaches show any emotions.

That Stanford win was big to start last season. As a win over them will be to start conference play this season. I only hope that Sark and the team will learn to get over it and not overlook our opponent the following week as we did vs Boston College last season.

I will admit Sark underneath is a kid at heart. I believe that actually helps with his recruiting as he can pretty well relate to the youngsters. I hope he learns to channel that child like heart as Pete Carroll did when it was time get serious about winning games.

  2. Wow, you mention that the picture that the author had “never seen” conveniently came from an article that another blog’s posted this morning and you comment magically disappears.

  3. Troll-bait lame post – what else you got? Who do you predict will fill the starting linebacker positions? What did JuJu eat this morning? Anything worthwhile at all???

    • Was it the high point of the season? Maybe…so what?

Without much doubt, Scott can’t produce enough worthwhile material to fill all the blog entries that he has been instructed to make in order to perform his job.

Have we seen the high point of Scott’s creativity in that regard? Maybe…

Because he lacks insight or isn’t smart? No…because he’s lazy and complacent.

      Just one reader’s opinion…

  4. As we might recall, the year before the crowd rushed the field when SC beat Stanford because it was a very big game, and they had had the Trojans’ number for a while.

Now, the Indians, errr, Cardinal, were not so good last year, but nobody knew that when SC beat them with a last minute field goal, and then a saving tackle on its quarterback. So, yeah, it was a big win at the time, and an emotional ending on top of that.

  5. what i remember is Shaw coaching a terrible game and keeping Hogan under wraps the whole game. then when he played UCLA Hogan played like Joe Freeking Montana.

  6. Was that the game that St. Pat got a text from Sarks and came running down to berate his staff referees?
    I forget.
