USC Basketball Offers 8th/9th Grader

USC basketball offered a scholarship today to 6-7 forward Isaiah Mobley according to his club team. Mobley will be a freshman this fall at Rancho Christian High School in Temecula. I say he is an 8th/9th grader because until school the 2015/16 school year starts I consider him an 8th grader.

    Now, let’s talk about SC “stealing” the academic talent from SUCLA and San Diego State.

    • Walnut, you called it, “stealing” is the operative word here. socal stole the acronym USC, stole a low grade research program from UCLA, and now wants to steal a research program from and grant funds allocated to UCSD (not SD St).

      As of today Walnut, there is exactly 1 student enrolled the socal MFA program. Obviously Klown U needs to steal some art students from Bum F**k who knows where. Good luck.

      • My alma mater is not looking too good in SD. First the Scripps debacle now this Alzheimers Research mess. Seems like all this effort could be put to more productive use on the actual research. Looks SC is trying to buy and bully its way into big time science. Don’t like it. Show some class Trojans.

          • This will all get worked out. Here’s something that’s not right – UCLA not protecting their patient data. First, they were selling celebrity information, then body parts, what’s next????

REALLY BAD NEWS is that based on QUALITY OF EDUMACATION, you boneheads drop to NUMBER 152…UCLA????????

  2. Should the young man not develop and his skill set remains at the 8th grade level five years from now….., he’ll be perfecto-mundo for so-so cal basketball. The only unanswered question is….Who offered the kid……’THE SCHOOL’ or Andyain’twinnin?
