Roger Goodell v. Larry Scott

Roger Goodell and the NFL upheld Tom Brady’s four-game suspension today for his role in Deflategate. Larry Scott fined USC $25,000 when the Trojans deflated footballs for Matt Barkley. Probably was worth it for USC in retrospect. Remember the Trojans went 0-2 when Barkley missed the final two games with an injury (and 7-4 with him that season).

  1. There is evidence Brady was involved and he distroyed his phone and evidence to prevent his messages from being used. Did either of these happen with Barkley Wolf?

  2. Nice pre-UCLA beat down picture of Matty Barks while he could still use that arm.

  3. Scott, USC is a non-profit university, while Patriots is a franchise. It is not apples to apples.

  4. Anthony Barr planted barks firmly into the turf on that great afternoon….I don’t recall barks being so cocky and arrogant as he was helped off the field. Oh well……all’s well than ends well. nice loss.
