All In Now . . . But Not Before?

USC is promoting the hastag #AllinNOW as its motto or philosophy for this season. So what happened before? Wasn’t everyone all in then?

  1. It’s just a motto, Scott…. you’re reading WAY too much into this, and in the most negative light possible… what a shocker……..

  2. It would be incorrect to say that “all” of the current USC student-athletes were “in” previously as some had not yet been admitted to USC and others were still evaluating opportunities to attend (or to be “in”) other schools. Therefore, I believe to use the phrase “all in now” in reference to the current student athletes is more appropriate, since all of them are, in fact, now in USC. I hope this clarifies any confusion.

    • He just gets off on it.. “Oh the Humanity”…..just another Zeppelin exploding…

  3. Every big anticipated season has a “saying” or motto. How about supporting the school you actually attended. Not saying to be a homer. Just a little love. Sounds crazy huh?

    • It’s almost football Time.practices just a few days away. Its what we look forward to for months.!!!! I’m proud to be a homer, its part of the spirit of life. And on a overall scale its great to have the sport upon us on all levels. So yes a whole lot of love…. And as far as SW, I choose just to ignore his BS..Let the games begin!!!

      • I can’t agree more with you. Besides my family and coaching my son, this is my favorite time of the year…
        USC FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!
I can’t wait! I’m getting my Stanford tickets tonight!

        • Fans don’t want the truth, they want WeAreSC. But then they are shocked when things go badly. I’d rather hear the worst and hope for the best than be misled by rah rahs impersonating reporters.

          • I agree. I want the truth from an impartial writer. I’ll say Wolf is that to a certain extent. But you have to admit a good portion of the time he is just disrespectful towards USC or maybe I don’t get his sense of humor. I will say this…I do like Wolf.

          • He’s a devil’s advocate, they are always lightning rods from those who want to propagandize. I think that having attended USC he looks at the athletic department with a jaundiced eye. He knows a lot of what they say is bluster and happy talk, but they suffer from the same ills as any other academic institution with a psorts program.

          • Reading Scott’s work is very tedious and tiring……he is very predictable and his knowledge of football is surprisingly limited, especially after all these years of covering the team……playing devils advocate is easy…offering a well thought out, unbiased analysis is entirely different…..

      • We shall see.

sas, Sark still doesn’t have an experienced O-line.

I’d wager Sark wishes he had UCLA’s OL.

      • He can’t help himself. Like a child he has to grab at everything. Look at me, look at me, I own LA. No discipline.

        • Here’s something funny. It reminds me of “owns”. Twice today at the Pac 12 media days they had Brett Hundleys quote “we own Los Angeles”. But right after they hit UCLA with questions and highlights of getting beat down by Stanford 6 days later. Basically saying know your roll and try to be classy about things before you open you’re mouths and start bragging. They were brought back down to reality twice today!

          • Maybe sas, but not anything like the foot in the mouth “Unfinished Bidness” Klown U billboards put up in Westwood in 2012.

Correct me if I’m wrong sas, but didn’t Klown U go 7-6 and lose the Sun Bowl to G. Tech, a sub .500 team, 21 – 7.

Of course, there was no fight in the locker room. Kiffy Goat just walked into door.

What a season for Klown U – the worst record ever attained by a NCAA Div 1 Pre-season #1 team. SO COOL.

  4. Wow, Wolf, when you think about it, what about tomorrow? Will they be All In then as well??? You are sooooo … (something)

  5. Nick Allioti-“O.J. Simpson is the best all time and he started it all”

Curtis Conway-“Reggie Bush is the best player I’ve ever seen”

Yogi Roth-“Reggie Bush is the best football player that I’ve ever been around, by far the best I’ve ever seen at any level is #5”

    THE EYES HAVE IT!

  6. I dislike it when the milk bounces off my cereal, out of the bowl, and onto the counter.

  7. Scooter, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. Don’t make to much of it.

  8. Anthony Brown wasn’t all in….. he cried that Sark was a racists, then bolted for the door… Max Wittek wasn’t all in either…he graduated (sort of), then moved on to Hawaii….for Riverboat Scott, “All in” is no doubt a poker reference……

  9. Trojans were “all in” last year, and Trojans are all in Now.

Only Wolf can find inconsistency where it does not exist.

But as we know quite well, Wolf does not mind controversy or even poster loathing, just so long as the posters are reading and responding to him

  10. That would be like calling something “Inside USC”, despite being banned from practice and following that up with cutting and pasting other people’s work.
