Poll: 60 Percent Of Voters Are Against Alternate USC Uniforms

So far, 60 percent of those who voted in today’s poll are against USC wearing an alternate uniform in 2016. That is a pretty clear indication the fans are against it. But is it enough to influence Steve Sarkisian and the USC administration that does not mind wearing something different for one game?

  1. Would most fans prefer an alternate? Probably not. Would 1 alternate tarnish USC’s tradition? Absolutely not.

Didn’t USC wear yellow helmets for a season?

    • We wore another/bigger version of tommy Trojan on our helmets in Larry Smith’s last season. They weren’t bad or good. But it didn’t matter because we weren’t a very good team. Our debut in the helmets was a tie to San Diego St. at Jack Murphy. Marshall Faulk ran all over us. Ahh…Memories.

      • The players were also wearing black doo rags which didn’t go over well with the alumni who thought they looked like gang members

  2. Keep the class & tradition within USC with the same classic traditional uniforms throughout the season.

  3. Well unfortunately the school has shown it worships the almighty dollar at the expense of almost everything else so I would say yes, they just might be willing to mess with something at the core of the school’s identity in order to get their mitts on some more of that sweet crafting green.

  4. Sorry Scott but your sample “people who read this blog” is not relevant. If you had a true random sample of people who like/follow USC football then the small sample size would be relevant. My educated guess is the average age of this blog is over 50 years of age and mostly male giving you a very narrow sample. A more accurate statement would be to say people who read my blog are against an alternate uniform. Plus people have the opportunity to vote more than once.

  5. 59% voted no and is in reality a Rotten Tomato (.com). That’s actually a thumbs down, not anywhere near a “clear indication” as falsified by Wolfie.
