Steve Sarkisian On Adoree Jackson’s Olympic Hopes

USC coach Steve Sarkisian said he would not stand in the way of Adoree Jackson’s attempt to make the Olympics for the long jump . . . if he has a serious chance to make the team.

“If he can make the Olympics, I would never stop him,” Sarkisian said. “(But) if he’s not over 27 feet, he won’t have a chance and right now he hasn’t gone 26 feet.”

Sounds like Sarkisian’s been studying up on Olympic marks.

  1. Imagine that – somebody actually researched a topic prior to addressing it!

How did Sark know that there might be a media guy or two that would ask about Adoree’s Olympic hopes???

  2. check out the big sports brain on Ocho!! How is he supposed to make Ocho’s “target distance” if he doesn’t compete in Spring Track??? THAT’S the question here!

And what does Ocho know about Olympics anyway?? His house had an Olympic sized pool and chubbo filled it up with Koi!!
