All-Purpose Tailback Melquise Stovall Decommits From USC

Tailback Melquise Stovall from Paraclete High School in Lancaster announced via twitter he is no longer committed to USC. This is yet another example that commitments really mean nothing. And schools/coaches pull the same thing when they yank scholarship offers.

Stovall is the No. 2 all-purpose back in the country according to Rivals.com.

  1. Stupid Wolfie. If commitments mean nothing, than how did USC sign the nation’s #1 class in February? Commitments, that’s how.

And if you don’t believe in commitments, quit copying the info from other sites and reprinting it here. This is already old news.

      • Duh. 99% of all signings are preceded by a verbal, silent or otherwise. You and Wolfie are both clueless.

          • Jackie Girl has some use, (s)he was featured in “A Brony Tale”, a documentary that revealed the unusual and unexpected community of grown men who live and breathe everything related to Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and the rest of the pastel-colored animated equine friends of My Little Pony.

    • Jack, the definition of OBNOXIOUS. Let’s us know Jack when your Klown U website is up and running.

  2. As I always say..

“Verbal commitments are not worth the paper they are written on”

  3. Another socal verbal commit not interested in being a Klownster for life. Question is: will he torch his useless Klown U krap inventory.

      • Thanks to Thai, ah no and the other troll for the comedy!! Your keeping us in stitches.

Now go back to your meds.

  4. I would’ve liked to see him in this class. But we have more important needs at the current time. And Dominic Davis is the same player as Stovall, but faster. Good luck to him.

    • It would have been nice to have him as a Trojan, but he’s 5’8″ and 180 lbs and we can use his scholarship for needs. …he will probably stay in the Pac-12, so we’ll see how he develops. …good luck, kid

      • Again I was ok with him in the class. But I’d rather like to use his scholarship for a top Defensive Linemen or top Cornerback.

  5. The reportedly way over rated Frank Martin should also re-consider his verbal commitment if he wants to really play college football. His best chances are apparently elsewhere.

    • COMPLETELY over rated…Got man handled at camps in every video I saw…..looks like the second coming of Nico Falah…, but he does seem like a nice kid and not a head case.

      • Manhandled? Check Cordell Broadus vs. Iman Marshall in 7 on 7. That would be the definition of manhandled.

        • Games are won and lost in THE TRENCHES….UCLA’S O and D lines are SUPERIOR to most…including suuuccckkkk. 2016 interior recruits will result in THREE MORE YEARS of you boneheads QUITTING in the third quarter….
Frank Martin is a good man…..but that’s the best you gonna do?

          • You speak as if you are special THAI. Our line has to commitments from players who Klemm offered. And we have Chuma Edoga 5* who’ll add depth to our line this season. Klemm punched the walls when Damien Mama turned him down. Yes, it hurts losing three in a row. If I were yooze I’d be thinking about beating the conference instead of obsessing over the Trojans. You point out how our team quit. What about Stanford only throwing the ball
4 times in the 2nd half against yooze guys. Didn’t look like they were playing against a team coming off a win against their rivals and belonged with the big boys.

            BONG!

          • wow….you got me….all this…..coming from a rah rah who’s team regularly quits at half against The UCLA Bruins….Yup…Stanford has our number….but at least we didn’t roll over against that powerhouse of a team from the east coast….Boston College….BTW…..you stole Nico from us a couple of years ago….how’d that work out?
            fruit ung!
you’d trade your o-line for ours any day, any time…

          • You got me also. But Thai what about the Bruins and the Ducks? On the road or at home, the Bruins can’t beat them.

          • You forgot to mention that the torgans didn’t beat oregon either……..not once over the last two years during the mariotta era…..Now that’s what I call lucky…
            fit ung

          • We beat the @ Oregon 38-35 in 2011. And lost 62-51 in 2012. We haven’t played them since.

  6. Sark and the staff didn’t have a change of heart. Let’s make that clear. Stovall wants to play a lot of different positions. USC wants him at running back. Stovall wants to play RB, WR, special teams and possibly CB. I respect Stovall’s decision, and I respect Sark and Clay Helton for sticking to their guns and not making promises they wouldn’t keep.

      • He’s not at that level. At least not yet. At least the coaches didn’t lead him on and promise him just for a signature.

  7. I almost feel bad for you usc fans, this class is crumbling right before our eyes.
