An Incovenient Radio Break

COWHERD.AUGUST

Talk about bad timing. Mr USC and Steve Sarkisian fan, Colin Cowherd, is not back on the air until Sept. 8. He sure would have come in handy doing spin control last week.

  1. We didn’t need Colin’s Spin Control. UCLA’s corner back misdeeds came along right in time to take Sark off the front burner before our 1st game. Those who live in Glass Houses (UCLA Trolls) should not throw stones. I hate to see any of the kids from any school in trouble. However now the UCLA Trolls can spend all of the week leading up their game dealing with it.

    • How do you explain being a robber? #1 as a little gutty, #1 on Uber’s do not serve list, #1 with a cell phone fetish, #1 on the bruin-in-search-of-a-felony tag. Congrats Ismael. #1 bruin in the news.

      • Stinky, why not ask Jr Pomee about grand theft and alcoholic binging, and while you’re at it, ask OJ how to plan an armed Hotel room invasion and not get caught.

        • My, my. How far back do you go to make yourself feel good. Too bad. So you have a felon on the team, big deal.

          • People living in a glass house shouldn’t throw stones – Especially since Adams hasn’t been convicted.

          • You ever been “held” on a $100,000 bond? That’s not from having too many drinks or jumping off a balcony. The young man is in deep trouble. Felony.

        • Is Pomee on the team? And don’t forget OJ was represented by Cochran who was a RUIN. We can also ask Darryl about his importing/exporting business.

          • Junior was on the team when he had his incident, Bad Twin. Don’t disappoint your Good Twin.

More trouble for USC and Lane Kiffin. (US Presswire)

USC freshman tight end Junior Pomee was arrested and is facing felony charges for burglary, grand theft and possession of stolen goods, the Los Angeles Times reported on Wednesday.

Trojans head coach Lane Kiffin also announced at USC’s signing day press conference that Pomee has been suspended as a result of the incident.

Pomee, a 6-foot-3, 250-pounder from Rancho Verde, Calif., was taken into custody by USC campus police officers last week:

Pomee, 21, was arrested on suspicion of possessing stolen goods by officers with USC’s Department of Public Safety on Jan. 29 at 2:45 a.m. near 642 28th St., Los Angeles Police Sgt. Rudy Lopez said.

Two days later, Pomee was charged with five felony counts, including burglary, grand theft and three counts of receiving stolen goods including an iPad, an iPad Mini and iPhone 5, court records show. Pomee pleaded not guilty Jan. 31 and will appear in court again Feb. 15, said Jane Robison, spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office. He is free on $110,000 bail.

Pomee appeared in all of USC’s games last season but did not catch a pass.

    • 50 sit ups, 50 push ups, and force him to eat hot box burritos for a week …then…and only then does he get back on the team…

  2. wolfman, that boot-licker couldn’t carry your jock strap.

he’s still in trouble for those racist comments that got him booted off of ESPN like Jimmy the Greek.

        • I heard you received a purse with Chewbacca design as the last place prize at the contest Saturday at the Ventura Fairgrounds, gooooooooolltnerdy.

        • Oh Charlie boy, every time you get called out with something that hits a little too close to home you resort to personal attacks. I’m not running for a beauty contest here and I know that I am probably not your type so lets stick to the fact that you are interested in Wolf’s jock.

  3. Have to admit Scott – not to smart of you to mock Cowherd prior to his new stint here in Los Angeles at 570 KSPN. He talks to a lot of beat reporters – not so sure you’ll hear from him then again any recognition beats being ignored. Better hope Cowherd doesn’t choose the latter.

  4. I think the moral of the story is you shouldn’t mix meds & Uber. It makes you sometimes say and do things you regret.

  5. Arizona State is getting big time love from ESPN. Luginbill and Herbie are going with the Sun Devils.

  6. i heard the true story and it is not very pretty. This is Josh Shaw 2. Yet its UCLA so nobody cares.

    • Somebody just told me the other day that Obama gives free cell phones. Anybody can get one. This kid made a big mistake.

      • What a stupid ruin. He would have been a millionaire in the NFL next year as a kick and punt returner.

        • Yep. I don’t understand. We both know he didn’t need a phone. Every kid has a phone. Especially in college. So this was definitely an act of him just taking it out of rage or temper or whatever, but he’s in some trouble now.

          • I remember seeing him last year acting out of control on the field with cheap shots and late hits and lots of smack after plays. He finally flipped out.

          • He’s has to be considered a wild one on his team. Less then a week before the opening game. He definitely has the Ba(($ to test the limits of the law.

  7. Bruin Report Online says USC will lose 5 games this season. Not might or could lose that many games, they are firm believers. Those are the predictions that I love! Keep it coming!

    • No big deal….I predicted SIX loses….Stanford, Arizona st., N.D., Utah, UCLA, OF COURSE.,…and Oregon…
6 and six for sick sark…….

        • My prayers are with the kid. A work mate of mines knows his family. Sad for him do do something so foolish over a a cell phone.

          • I hate to see these kids make such outrageous choices. I feel for him even if he is a bruin. I’m just messin with ThaiMex like he always does to us.

          • Sure does. I’m not judging him because lord knows I’ve made some bad choices. But what are these kids thinking. They have a great path ahead and then they do something like this. They have people who come the day training camp starts to speak and warn them about these things.

  8. I stopped listening to Colin Cowherd months ago when he started discussing political and social issues on his SPORTS radio show. The guy is an unintelligent tool.
