WILCOXUSC defensive coordinator Justin Wilcox will move to the coaches’ booth in the pressbox during games this season.  He was on the sideline last season.

  1. By any chance is that a picture of him calling the defensive signal for the last play against ASU last year?

    • Watched the replay of the ASU game last night on Pac 12 network. SC looked gassed on both sides of the ball. Couldn’t block couldn’t pass rush. They should be more fit this year.

      • USC had defenders standing in the end zone when the play began. You are seriously claiming they couldn’t lift a finger to stop that Hail Mary?

  2. I can’t wait to see how Justin Wicox coaches against the real teams, starting with Stanford on 9/19 followed by Arizona State, Washington, Notre Dame, and Utah. Because USC has the talent, they have the depth, and they so call have a NCAA championship coach in place, with Steve Sarkisian…..Lololololol. I actually want the Trojans to do well, but we shall see.

    • The Pac 12 South will be brutal. SC will not go undefeated. The winner of the south will be one of the top 5 teams in the country. Hopefully it will be SC.

      • I see 4 loses for the Trojans this season, because Steve Sarkisian has never beaten Oregon, or Arizona State during his head coaching tenure . Well guess what ? Arizona State has a great team this year, and Oregon will be Oregon. And I have a feeling 2 or 3 other teams will jump up and bite USC based on Sarkisian being out coached.

        • Oregon, Az St, ND away, and ugly (if Rosen settles in by November) will be tough. I could see any of those being loses. I don’t think USC drops all 4. 4 is certainly possible, I would guess 2 or 3. Then again I wouldn’t be surprises if USC wins 3 of the 4 and drops a game along the way to a team like Utah or Stanford. This team will have more depth and young talent, but they lost a lot of experienced talent. If Sark can manage to survive this season, and that isn’t certain after his meltdown at Salute toTroy, they’ll be really good in2016. The young talent will be more experienced and the roster should be back to 85 (from the mid-high 70’s). I like their chances against Bama in Texas. There
are a lot of sophomores and freshmen on this roster.

          • After watching Utah’s performance last night against Utah, the Pac 12 has another serious contender to deal with, and Steve Sakision, and UCLA’s Jim Mora both acknowledged that on a Pac 12 preview appearance, on espn .

  3. the guy is gonna look like a genius for the first two games of the season…..the watch how quickly his I.Q. drops….Reality is a biaatch

  4. Per Saban, Belichick wants his coordinators on the field, thinking that they can’t coach player adjustments from upstairs. Saban didn’t like it at first as Belichick’s DC, but now he insists on it as HC.

Wonder what Sark’s reasoning is? And why bring Helton down to the field, but move Wilcox upstairs?

  5. Letting d-bag loser coaches like Wilcox and Helton abuse USC income is a bigger crime than Pete getting Suck and Goat Kiffin those big salaries when they were Pete’s crappy OC’s.
How much $$$$$ has USC wasted on Pete’s butt kissing hack assistants ???
