Matt Barkley v. Tim Tebow

TEBOW.BARKLEYTim Tebow completed 11 of 17 passes for 189 yards with 2 TDs and 1 INT in six series tonight against the Jets. Matt Barkley was 4 of 9 for 45 yards with an INT. Someone will get cut by Saturday but the Phildelphia media seems to think Barkley is on the way out.

“His two-year run with the Eagles appears to be over. He may prefer a try with another team – this is, if there’s another team willing to gamble on the 24-year old. I would think so.” — Philadelphia Inquirer

  1. More meaningless copy-and-paste click-bait from the blogger. Too bad there isn’t a game or anything this weekend to report some “inside” info on…

  2. Barkley could slide in right next to Matt Lainart on the Pac-12 football coverage. He can provide expert commentary about the agony of defeat!

  3. Barkley, like the Muppet dog, is on his way out, while Hundley added to his highlight reel with the Packers today.

    Take that, Hundley haters!

    *WoofWoof*

  4. You can have the NFL. I only care about the players while at SC. And as for Tebow, except that he wears his religion on his sleeve, what’s not to like.

  5. Stayed too long at Clown U and UCLA D ended it for him.
Too bad that a good kid like this got mixed up with the wrong team.
    God, I love football season!

  6. i’d like to see him get a grad assistant job for southern cal. dude would eventually be a beast as a QB coach and recruiter- good smile, good attitude, etc.

  7. Tim Tebow is not going to win any regular season games for you, so if Chip Kelly cuts Matt Barkley, he better hope and pray Sam Bradford, and Mark Sanchez stay healthy for the whole season.

  8. Barkley leaves the Oregon offense and joins up with a pro-set offense he is better suited and trained for. End of story.
