  1. Is it my monitor or does your chart say this:

    Odds on 1/13/15 – 20/1, Odds on 8/5/15 – 20/1, Current Odds (9/2/15) 16/1. Do you have it backwards?

  2. Mr Wolf:
I suspect this is the “Cutty Sark” drift. I noticed also UCLA numbers drifted I guess that would a “Felony Fade”. Keep up the good work.

  3. For years I’ve avoided this place, partly because of Mr. Wolf’s obviously contentious bluster and partly because of the ubiquitous trolling.
Then it seemed like the Daily News was making an effort to clean things up. Now I begin to wonder if the recent attempt at “moderation” wasn’t just a phony, cynical ploy to increase the number of clicks by pretending to push the discussion away from the endless name-calling back-and-forth sillyness. It isn’t working; you have to do better.
I ask: do you really care?

    • I tried to email the mod this week but the email address didn’t work. Then I had a bunch of comments deleted because they had Scott’s name in them. As you correctly point out, the endless name calling continues unabated. #clickbait

        • Contact Snarling Sally Snarls regarding the question the publisher thread. SSS tried very hard to eliminate Mr. Wolf. The Wolfster prevailed easily.

      • I’ve been deleted few times this week as well for questioning SW’s Witch
hunt.I stayed away last week, as it got obsessive.I would love a change to real football/ Trojan sports discussion ..Real question….To whom do we write? How can we affect change?

        • Don’t know yet. But I’m going offline to contact the editorial board. Real discussion is the goal. And their try at moderation isn’t getting it.

          • Just a suggestion, but you two outta go to the City of Norwalk website, they have some pretty good knitting clubs and other Senior Citizen activities that sound more “age appropriate” for you two.

Quite honestly, this is a rough and tumble Pac12 sports blog for half-drunk deviants, maladjusted old geezers, eggshell personality types and a few Bruins.

            #WeGotNoWhereElseToGo

          • Honestly I appreciate your humor, and bless him where ever he is, you and Juan are a good stand up routine. As for Norwalk I never get to that part of the state, so I’ll just keep to making my sand castles in the sand, and hope a ruff and tumble half drunk blogger doesn’t step on it.

          • Couldn’t help noticing the cleverness of your last paragraph, Charlie —on the surface it appears as though you’re referring to four separate categories of readers — when, in reality, you’ve come up with four different labels for one group (i.e.,Bruin fans)

          • Bucket, why aren’t you slobbering all over Harbaugh like the Fox announcers. You would think it was Obama running for office again.

          • Mr. Z, have you bothered to read the posted Inside Klown U comments policy. Why mow a lawn if it doesn’t need it.

          • Yes Witches everywhere, from the mountains to the oceans and everywhere between.. ..look there goes one now !!!

        • Scooter is quick to censor this week. He doesn’t like being called out for his gambling obsession either. The dude needs help. #betstherentmoney

        • SW aside ,if one looks closely at the odds.To me it appears odds have changed because our tough schedule .We have the best odds in PAC 12.Oregon’s,Stanford,and other PAC 12 changed up.ND Is now 12/1. It’s the schedule ,and the fact we play 4 teams in top 15 AP.
It was posted couple days ago, were the only team to play 4 top 15. But hey,the odds makers always look to Salute to Troy for final odds.

    • Carefull Neal there’s a cyber stalker on the blog. I think his wolf’s girlfriend.

      • SoCal_Scrub_69er is one of many stalkers of Scott Wolf. Veritas aka John Wooden aka The One The Only, Garry Bleauz, Jackie Girl the brony, Vickie, BM and the Rachel Maddow of Inside USC are among the others with no other purpose in their sad, meaningless existences.

    • What changed?
Odds makers found out from Haden that SoCal had a pimple on their continuum.
      That has to hurt!

  4. HAHAHA! COMIC BOOK GUY TRIED TO TROLL USC, BUT HE HAS IT BACKWARDS. USC’S ODDS TO WIN THE TITLE ACTUALLY IMPROVED TO 16/1 (FROM 20/1 LAST TIME).

  5. Unrelated, for those hoping to see Hundley fall flat (like Barfly, Leinart etc.), sorry.

  6. Rick Neuheisel on Dan Patrick’s show this morning was discussing his time at UCLA and made note that having Helton take over the offensive calls doesn’t make sense inasmuch as Sark is a qb coach. Couple that with Dufresne recent down grading of USC.

It seems outside of the discussion many analysts see Sark’s transition as a warning flag that this is not good for the Trojans. It might be another reason the odds have grown form 1/16 to 1/20.

Papadakis has ASU as the Pac-12 champion along w. Clemson (ACC) TCU (Big 12) and Ohio State (Big 10) for the playoffs.

  7. What changed since then? The only thing that moves odds or a line in any direction, money. Lots of money on SC and the odds go down. I think you’re playing dumb, but maybe you just don’t understand how gambling works.

    • I think he may have a severe gambling addiction. It sounds like he taking the action 20/1 against SC. Who bets 20 to make a buck?

      • This is parimutuel betting. There is no betting against anyone, only betting for a winner at odds that fluctuate based on the total money wagered and the odds reflecting the relative amount of money bet on a particular team, or horse for that matter. To answer your question, I don’t think anyone would take a -2000 money line bet.

      • You have a severe addiction to Scott Wolf, SoCal_Scrub_69er. You spend your days and night obsessing about him. You need psychiatric help. Maybe you can see Cutty Sark’s shrink.

  8. Ok I realize now many are similar to a female ostrich vies a vie as her brood maybe subject to being vanquished – look and understand I am not saying USC is not going to win the Pac-12 South nor that they shall not defeat their two storied foes – Notre Dame and UCLA (and for all the followers of those two pray tell what is your ‘other’ foe save USC? Yes you have not no matter what you emit.

Understand theKEY game for USC is game # 4 – ASU – win that game (26th Sept.) and it truly is off to the races regardless of what UCLA or anyone else in the conference does because the following week (3rd Oct.) ASU will be @ UCLA and one more loss for ASU and they are done.

  9. Good! Better odds for those who know. See that the Bruins dropped, too – someone in Vegas is dropping the ball.

  10. As Suck would say ‘ the moral of the story ‘ not a lot of faith in a pill popping drunken depressed crappy football coach with a staff full of losers ‘
