Did You Catch The Idaho Score?

USC plays Idaho next week, which lost at home last night to Ohio, 45-28. Not Ohio State but Ohio. USC fans might want to double check and ask the athletic dept. if they will pay in authentic American dollars for next week’s game.

  1. Probably not the best score to express your mock outrage, Scottie. They put 28 points on the board, and Ohio isn’t necessarily a tremendous slouch. And where are your Shay Fields posts? SC really needs him these days, huh?

      • One of three schools to have never played a i-AA team. Only team to play 4 top 15 teams. I’m sure you’d love to see Nebraska, Ohio State, Duke and Notre Dame non-conf. We all would! But it takes two to tango. Texas A& M pulled out of their contract, and you get a Sunbelt team to step up. SC will play anyone – they’ve proven it.

  2. Mr Wolf:
You have to play teams of all types of calibers to have a complete season Mr Wolf. That is why i read the excellent sports writers, the average sports writers and then your stuff.

    • An then Woody takes a dumb on Wolf’s blog – the blog of a sportswriter he plainly detests. That’s similar to despising wine but don’t mind brushing your tooth with it.

Corky, crank me a double, and step on it.

    • And there are all types of contestants at Minneapolis this weekend. You are the one who is 0-237, ‘nooidd.

      • “USC is taking heat for opening the season with Arkansas State and Idaho. But the Trojans also play four teams ranked in the top 15 of the Associated Press preseason poll. No other top 20 team can say that.” Scott Wolf

  3. So they have a softer than normal non-conference schedule this year, big deal. Next year they get right back on track and play Bama.
If there were any year to have a soft non-conference it would be this year. The conference schedule is tough this year, we play all of the top tier PAC12 teams.

    • Teamranking’s NCAA College Football Non-Conference SOS Rankings have USC at #15 over all, #2 in tha PAC12 behind Utah. FBS Shedules has them #21, #3 in the PAC12 behing Utah and California.

      • Yawn.

Klown U wanted a cupcake schedule filled with tomato can opponents, and Ozark St. and Potato U. fit the bill.

          • Quiz time Richard. Who said this?

I’ll give you a couple minutes.

          • Ahhh the cleaver “You are” come back, nice. Next time try, “I’m rubber you’re glue”.

  4. What a shame SC plays a couple soft non conference games while everyone else in the Pac 12 strictly loads up on powerhouses. On an unrelated note, looking forward to Cal – Grambling and Oregon State – Weber State tomorrow!

    • Be sure to catch the Oregon- Eastern Washington game too.(Oregon’s farm club). All major competive teams have games like this. Its the way to final four.

      • Daelin Hayes will be on his official visit Saturday at Notre Dame for the ND-Texas game. I’m still very confident he’ll be a Trojan, but his mom is pushing and hoping he’ll end up at ND. Something to keep an eye on. But when he officially visits USC he’ll remember why he’s committed to the Trojans.

        • Daelin has lived out here..When it turns grey and 35-40′ in Midwest, and he visits here and it’s 70′,a young mans blood heats up…his USC ties will be heating up also.At 17 so many things happen, decisions change and change back.Mothers have strong pulls.yet to be your own man plays big.we will see.Bottom line we will land top 5 class.
With the LBs we have from top to bottom they make names for themselves… Young 4/5 stars see that and want in..we will get our guys next few years..USC lbs will get a lot of pub this year.

          • With or without him we’ll be fine. He’s said he wants to be in Los Angeles. Mom and dad have been moving him back and fourth. He’s gonna have to put his foot down and make his own decision.

  5. The only reason SC is playing Idaho is cause Texas A&M backed out of a game with the Trojans that would be played next week.
