I still can’t get an assessment of USC, because Arizona state looked horrible, and pretty much spotted SC 21 pts. The Sun devils quarterback can’t throw, and kept missing his receivers . But the the thing that Trojan fans should be concerned with, is that SC can’t really run the ball from the line of scrimmage.
Which ever way you look at it, it was a huge win for a TEAM that needed one.Try assessing any team in PAC 12.Seasons gotta play.At one point with game not decided there were 5 freshman on the field on defense. Pick it apart if you want, tonight we had a huge win.Much to improve to win South, BUT the team and coaches took care of business TONIGHT!!!!!
Excellent point. We should not forget this is a very young team that will make mistakes, no matter what the coaches teach them. From the glass-half-full perspective, the sanctions may have helped USC by allowing the recruits from two great recruiting years to obtain early experience; when they are juniors and seniors they will be dominant.
It is a fair point, Fred. However, ASU blitzed and loaded the box to take away the run so Kessler took what they gave him. Don’t be so cynical and just enjoy the victory.
