Colin Cowherd Doesn’t Own His Own Comments, Naturally

For the first time ever, I actually listened to Colin Cowherd this morning. He actually started off defending Steve Sarkisian: “Steve Sarkisian isn’t an A and he’s not a D. He’s not dumb today nor is he terrible.”

Cowherd then said USC lacks an identity: “Sark’s problem isn’t the loss. They don’t have an identity What are they? It’s not just about the wins. Their identity is you never what the hell you’re getting.”

Conveniently, Cowherd never brought up coaching decisions like going for a field goal or passing the ball three straight times while the running game worked, etc. And he never said he was wrong yesterday when he said USC was rolling.

  1. He’s a brain-dead idiot. Last night’s performance was an F and, yes, Sark is not very bright.

  2. I do not agree with Colin. USC is a dominating force on offense. We are averaging over 40 points per game. FIGHT ON!

    • It is hard to argue with the stats. Clearly our offense is good Nick. I personally think that most Trojan fans have unrealistic expectations. What is wrong with going to a bowl game every year?

      • First Fred, now Sal? Howard’s staff out looking for new gigs I see. Even Bababooey knows what’s up at #yesterdayU

        • I wonder if Richard will show up here? He’s always talking about Southern Cal football. Do you support Sark like me or are you another one of these negative Trojans?

    • Colin is right.. since PC left. USC has NOT had an identity and its clear.. There is too much youth on this coaching staff

  3. I would love see Sark,Wilcox and the rest of the washed up Washington poaches er coaches follow Myles Jack’s lead and quit while they can because they are through for the season and beyond.
And I would also like to know just how many aliases Nick Jones has

  4. Cowherd is more commentator than journalist and he clearly likes having an “in” with the USC program, so I can see why he wouldn’t bash the head coach. With that being said, SW consistently tells us whats on his mind, but that does not seem to have endeared him to the USC administration….

    • And Scott clearly doesn’t care, which enables him to be even more reckless and irresponsible with his comments…..

    • So you are saying Scott is doing his job while Cowherd is a shameless self-promoter?

  6. The offense was not ready or able to play this game well enough and Washington had a defensive gameplan that confused/defended the USC offense sufficiently. How else can you explain what happened? Washington scoring 17 points was not the issue… it was USC scoring only 12 points, some 4-touchdowns below their average. The talent on these teams does not match up! Cowherd is correct in that you really don’t know from game to game what you will see from this team. That, my friends, has to do with coaching!!!

  7. Wolf, your obsession with cowherd is creepy. Do you think he even knows you exist?

    • Although I truly believe Sark is the right man for the job, I would support a Norm Chow hire. Our offense was amazing under him. FIGHT ON!

  8. Hey Wolf. Do you ever own up to your comments when you are wrong? I didn’t think so.

    • So, despite the fact that he has posted direct quotes from his show… for years, Wolf still claim that he has only listened to the show for the first time today. Playing devil’s advocate and assuming that this isn’t a complete fabrication, how could Wolf know that Cowherd, who’s show he’s never heard, would “naturally” own his own comments? Is it just a general assumption, based on personal experience, that all blowhards never own their own comments?

      • Even after Cowherd is exposed as a fool and a racist you Sunshine Pumpers still defend him.

  9. In some ways I think last night’s loss was a blessing in disguise for usc fans. Why do I say that, with every loss that usc has this season it makes it easier for pat Haden to fire Sarkisian
at season’s end. Then usc can go out and get a real coach, who can possibly bring USC back to national prominence. Anyone with half a brain, knew sarkisan would never bring USC back to national prominence. And today, the view of sark’s coaching ability is much darker.

  10. Cow-Herd ?

Put a Cowboy Hat on him and stick him out on the Corral !!

Then he could hang out with all the Cow Sh!Г…
