  1. Didn’t Hayes sign a scholarship agreement to enroll in January? Does that mean WR Michael Pittman, safety C.J. Pollard and offensive lineman Nathan Smith can also bail?

  2. Not good news. But not a surprise. We just have move forward. The recruiting will take care of itself.

    • Mique was shaky before this as well. Whoever comes in has a big job ahead. The negative recruiting should hit epic proportions.

      • Mique might as well
Decommit and become a Bruin. Only a Home Run Hire would save the big names like Juarez and Hayes.

        • i can hardly wait to use my “thanks for the GUMBALL, Mique!!! line.

don’t keep me WAITING Mique….time to DROP the trOXans like a BAD HABIT!!!

          #RecruitingDisaster

          • Charlie,
a recruiting disaster is Roquan Smith finding out Jim Mora wasn’t upfront on degrees his University offers. Soso Jamabo taking the cops on a high speed chase on prom night. And Cordell Broadus retiring before he steps foot on the practice field. Plus losing the #1 TE in the country after only one game…that’s a recruiting class disaster………..
            We’ll be fine.

          • you’re comparing a leaky bucket to the Titanic!!!

Roquan was a girlie mommas boy….Soso is fine…..Clark was a homesick sissy who dint fit our offfense. Broadus??? a PR stunt.

we’ll just see who comes out ahead this next class, won’t we Sassy boy???

          • You better hope so. If Mora can’t capitalize on our coaching problems again than you should probably be upset. And even with our problems I’m not worried.

          • CAPITALIZE?????? He’s only NEVER LOST to you CLOWNS……and his won/loss record has ALWAYS been better than that of CLOWN U…….and it’s only just begun….

            Other than that….
            f/off

          • Congratulations….Boston College,WashingtonSt.,Georgia Tech, Washington, etc. they’ve all beat us. Don’t feel special.

          • ….The only thing that matters are wins and loses……O.J., Pommee, and the Balcony Jumper cannot save your season from going down the drain….
            f/off

          • Is Roquan starting this year? If he had gone to f ucla he’d be taking Jack’s place right now.

  3. Had the Toejams employed Coach O things would be at least 500% better today.

  4. Recruiting can wait. We’re doing nothing with all the 4-5 stars we’ve got anyway.

I feel badly for Sark but great for USC. It’s easy to see what’s been going on. At least we have some answers now. No wonder.

Suddenly, I like our chances a little better this season going forward. Actually, a lot better. USC’s gonna nail a terrific HC coach this time around. There’s some great candidates out there and Sark just instantly opened the door to anyone with the gravitas to give USC its next big ride. I’m buyin’ it. Hope things work out for Sark.

    • Maybe you can answer this, Jack —with Sark out [on a “leave” from which he will never return] and Helton taking over as HC, is USC allowed to bring in another coach or paid consultant to help shore up the coaching staff?

      • Good question. Don’t worry. The guys that really like USC will stick anyway. Those are the ones you want. When the new HC comes, there will be a giant mixing bowl of sudden interest and all the problems with who the new staff wants to keep from the old commits will arise.

It’s always that way and USC has always been able to recruit. An asst coach from another school just texted me about Sark and said his grandmother could recruit 5 stars to USC. That’s what other schools think about the Trojans.

        • Itchy KU will in the near future have had six HFBC in three years. Yikes.

Why would any HFBC with decent resume consider KU, the dysfunctional Univ?

    • Hayes was a silent Domer or possible Harballs commit.
      He is from Ann Arbor
      so no surprise

    • Jack- not sure what you’ve heard so far, but a name I keep hearing among Trojan donors is Kyle Whittingham. Curious if you’ve heard anything similar?

      • Not a donor, but Wittingham is tops on my list. At least SC will again play like men with him.

      • No, but I did meet Buffet Bob a couple of times. What a bizarre fat little gutty HC he was.

  5. That tweet means nothing, because signing period isn’t tomorrow, is it ? Once an established coach is in place by the end of the year, Daelin Hayes will be recruited again.

    • Fred, it might just be he sees freshmen trojan LBs playing right now and if the highly rated Mique Juarez comes in (if…..if a certain college president takes some action and brings in a really good coach) poor Daelin might feel he needs to look elsewhere for a better chance to start.

    • You are correct.. you bring in a legit HC, or make a fast decision by the admin.. HE might come in as an early recruit If not.. he signs with Notre Dame

  6. 3rd time will be a charm. SC will go out side of carrol tree this time and hire a big time cosch. Signing day isn’t until February 2016. I see another 10 year rum for sc.

  7. Who is out there, pro or college, that can come in here and turn this program around with his management skills and his knowledge of how to win championships. I think this program needs to finally pony up with some major dollars and bring in a big name! USC can easily afford it.

  8. Remember when Wolfie suggested Sark should be fixing things in house rather than hitting the road to recruit. Right again, Wolfie!
