  1. It appears that Scott has found a new fatal attraction to replace Lane Kiffin. Wonder what Cowherd did to earn Scott’s attention: it’s not like Colin’s support of SC is a new development.

  2. I have never been a fan of Steve Sarkisian for many reasons. However, I am pulling for him right now. I have been in his situation before, and can assure you he is going complete hell right now. Best of luck to Steve Sarkisian.

    • Hopefully Sark can get to a quiet place on focus on recovery. All this noise and public scrutiny just adds to his woes, IMO. If he and his supporters are smart, he is already there.

    • Do your homework before you spout your nonsense. “Is alcoholism a disability under the Americans with Disabilities Act?

Yes, but that doesn’t mean an employer has to put up with an employee’s drinking. The disease of alcoholism meets the definition of a disability, which means that an employer may not make job decisions based on the fact that an employee is an alcoholic, attends AA meetings, or takes medication to curb the urge to drink. However, an employer may prohibit drinking at work and may generally hold all employees to the same standards of performance and conduct. An employee who can’t meet those standards because of drinking may be disciplined and ultimately terminated, even if the employee is an alcoholic.”

  3. Pat Haden should be fired. After the incident at Salute to
Troy, any reasonable AD would have kept close tabs on Sark. Players took photos of Sark passed out on the plane back from ASU and that didn’t come to Haden’s attention?

  4. Cowherd has become a cartoon character. Now that he has switched from ESPN to Fox he will slowly fade into the sunset.

    • Agreed. Cowhreds freaking rolling comment looks stupid and uninformed now, even is defense of Sark looks bad at this point, but maybe sark was with Colin on Saturday night.

  5. At least make an attempt to hide your over abundant glee. The king troll sits on his porcelain throne in the valley full of bitterness and bile. Mr Wolf, you give every appearance of an immature individual who has unresolved emotional issues. I’m sure you don’t care, but it’s not just USC fans who think you’re a talentless, bitter hack. I can’t wait for the day that Scott Wolf becomes the story because I know there’s a story to be told. Hate on, Wolf, your day will come.

  6. I am waiting for Cowherd to lay into Pat Haden, who for all intensive purposes is the reason the football program is in the shape it is right now. Haden needs to admit he is not the man for this job. He should have just held the AD office just long enough until a more qualified man was chosen and failed to do so. He will continue to make bonehead decisions if he stays any longer…
The USC sports Department is not the place to learn on the job. Max Niklas didn’t have an “ivory white tower clue” about that when he insisted on hiring Haden who had zilch experience in AD work and you see what that has lead to. Or are you totally blind?

  7. Cowherd was on air this morning and came right out of the box defending St. Pat. His point was that Haden shouldn’t be expected to know his head coach had a drinking problem. Really? Hasn’t he known him for 15 years including his previous stint at SoCal? Did he not know what many Washington media and fans knew?
CC just sort of bypassed his foolish defense of Sark and moved right on the the defense of PH with a lame story of how he used to work with an alcoholic that “no one knew” was an alcoholic. He then went on to say the guy was fired because he was drunk at work. What? No one knew? Just keep talking Cowherd and maybe most people will forget what you said yesterday.

    • I think Colin Cowherd said what he said before he read the article in the LA Times today. .lol because you can’t defend Pat Haden after that.

  8. I can assure you Sarks contract is being dissected with a fine tooth comb to see what issues exist for firing. The American Disabilities act would cover a disease like alcoholism which may create issues while on leave of absence. Pat should step down and let the new AD select his next coach especially if Haden was even thinking of leaving in next couple of years, plus need to clean house and finely get some stability in the program. Any hire at this point under Haden would under immense scrutiny

  9. cc is like the whiney little kid that tells stories to back up his previous lies and stories…. a viscous cycle. I just turn him off…..listen to DP and RE, people that act like and sound like adults. Eventually everyone will tune cc out completely.
