  1. Trojan War, Dodger playoff game (early 3-0 lead with Kershaw on the mound) or the democratic presidential debate???

  2. Watching Trojan War on 30 for 30 is the closest boocla will ever get to a FB NC – ever. Sniff away bruins.

    • show me the crystal, sweetie.

love it, program is falling apart, RAISING the bar on CLOWN COLLEGE tag daily, not a speck of crystal to be found and Bruins beat your sweeeet A$$es EVERY year and will again…..and STILL talking smack!!!

makes it a pleasure to kick your crouches on here DAILY!!!

      • Charlie. I thought you were smarter than that. Our programs just dropping some dead weight at the moment. Not falling apart pal. Don’t be so naive. Trust….

        • not falling apart????

dude. if this isn’t falling apart, i’d hate to see what your look like to REALLY fall apart!!!

blowing games to teams full of freshman, coach in rehab, AD who is in full blown denial, top recruits bailing, imminent losses to the Rudys and Bruins await……i say it’s FALLING APART!!!

          #ItSoTotallyIsFallingApart

          • We’ve been “falling apart” since 2009. There hasn’t been any Bruin banners lifted to the rafters. I’m not worried. Trust…..

          • little gutties couldn’t fill the gap or ever beat Stanford and Oregon. There’s always somebody better than boo-cla. That’s just who they are.

          • 46-31-7 USC rules. You’ll never catch us little gutty, not as long as college football is played. As I said, somebody’s always better than you. And yes, it’s USC. Congrats on your little 3-game win streak. You gotta take what you can get.

          • at least you kept the meaningless ancient history recap to one paragraph…..gotta hot date tonight, Most Eligible “Bachelor”??

  3. Hey wolfman, remember when the Agin’ Cajun was here, how the big story was how we would give the lineman a cookie???

sounds rather quaint, now don’t it??

Oh, yeah, and the other big story was about how he saved the season and then got stabbed in the back as repayment.

boy, if anyone’s entitled to self satisfied chortle, it’s the
Aging’ Cajun, but then he’s probably too loyal and classy a guey for
    that.

  4. You have to love what Snoop Dog said he would do if the NCAA demanded their Heisman Trophy back…lmao….classic !

  5. Still don’t blame Reggie or Pete. NCAA didn’t like that USC was just that good and everybody wanted to be there

  6. Safer in Westwood, Trogan Fan and ya pals…..

9 years of the Pete Carroll Era accomplished more than the ENTIRE HISTORY OF BRUINS FOOTBALL✌️✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌️9 years.

    Game. Set. Match.

    • I’ve never looked at it that way, but damn good point. Honest question: how long has ucla been playing football?

        • Last I checked they didn’t run the BCS. They took our crystal trophy away because we played an ineligible player named Reggie Bush who was so greedy and self-centered he double-crossed his agents after he couldn’t wait a year to make his NFL millions.

          • Todd McNairs case is gonna stomp the NCAA. We’re gonna get that trophy back. It’s only a matter of time with that.

          • Yeah, but it’s time to find a coach whose going to change the culture and create a new era. Bush made a mistake. A huge one. He’s been welcomed back from former players. They’ve forgiven his actions. It’s time to move ahead from that page of negativity.

          • USC is all about building toward winning championships. One man’s greed took that away for ten long years. Reggie’s pals can forgive him all they want, but he robbed every member of the Trojan Family of a decade they can never get back. That’s what the ESPN film Trojan War meant to me. But I agree with you that now is the time to build from the ashes of that once great era.

          • The decade wasn’t entirely wasted. In some ways the program and the school are better for going through that madness. We have a chance now to truly push the reset button and give college football (and L.A) what it’s been missing.

          • Marvgoux1 is right, a decade of USC football has been wasted no matter what happens with the McNair case, The problem now is Pat Haden & Max Niklas collectively are turning this program into another fiasco, being paid millions and killing the immediate future of USC football for who knows how long until they are removed (or at least Haden).

  7. Nice film , we’ll directed and presented. To much focus on Texas game. I have a weird feeling that Peete will resign with the Seahawks at the end of the season and become the Trojans head coach. Trojan war part 2.

    • And USC glorifies cheating ! Shocker
DeNile isn’t just a river in Egypt
Last actual National Championship was in the 1970s

      1980s 0000000000
      1990s 0000000000
      BCS 0000000000000000

I feel for the majority of our players who did nothing wrong – they were betrayed unnecessarily. I feel for Reggie Bush as he paid the price for ALL that was wrong only because his ‘impermissable benefits’ were the easiest to prove.

And I fell for the entire USC family which was invested emotionally and had a great time but was betrayed.
And many of us remain in denial. I mean, who wanted the party to end ? Not me.
But its did, and our last actual consensus Championship was in the 1970s.
Fight On ! Go Trojans, beat ND

        • Not a huge Dodger fan and not obsessed with SC. Have some free time these days and enjoy chatting about college football. In LA, that’s UCLA and SC.

Saw my first Dodger game as a kid and it was a good one. Game 4 of the 1963 World Series as the Dodgers swept the Yankees with Sandy Koufax on the mound. Doesn’t get better than that!

  8. I don’t really need to watch a documentary about SoCal football directed by a guy on the SoCal payroll.
It won’t tell me much. I’ll just be watching the replay of last year’s blowout in the Rosebowl.

  9. The era deserved a better movie. Not concerned about its point of view, but the raw materials lent themselves to a superior product. The only thing I learned was just how obsessed Texas was by SC during that season. And who was that player who didn’t know the name of the Texas QB going into the title game? He needed to be drug tested.

  10. Can someone explain why Trojan fans refer to the era as a dynasty? I cannot find more than one photo of Carroll hoisting the crystal ball. What am I missing? Please help

  11. Watched this with sadness in my eyes knowing it went crashing down unnecessarily and ruthlessly.
