  1. Who’s the next coach? Miss and 15 years of mediocrity. Recruiting linemen must be priority.

    • Man, true but 15 years? Dunno about that. And there is plenty of talent on the line. Just because we don’t run often enough doesn’t cover that we get a lot of YPC.

And just because our DL is unaware of what to do outside of beating their man (which doesn’t always work when the opposing OL is pulling/trapping /counter.) And what about our LBs do you think they are all busts? They’re responsible for the run game too.

When you decide there are no DL “line games” and limited pressure packages, and you’re guys aren’t recognizing what they are playing against it can get rough for the best of them. We got scored on by teams far less talented than ND. Wilcox is just no good, has no reason being here.

      • The turnaround from the underachieving Paul Hackett years to the Pete Carroll dynasty in 2 short years showed that USC recruits itself even under mediocre head coaching. All that is holding us back is the right head coach.

  2. Are we ignoring that a half dozen media outlets called for Haden’s firing in a the last couple of days, in addition to all those that were doing so before? Again, Scott Wolf is oddly the only voice in California media right now not calling for Haden to be canned. What gives?

  3. I respect your decision (or your paper’s decision) to link to Mark Whicker’s articles – mostly because he’s eating your lunch in terms of analysis. It’s a professional tone, and he’s got a flair for writing that you’re still developing, Scottie. But props to you for doing it – you should strive to be your best.

  4. If Mark Wicker thinks KU showed some fight in the ND loss then he must be a SUCCer for short shovel passes.
