USC Morning Buzz: Breaking Down The Coaching Candidates

I put together a list of USC coaching candidates after talking to various sources around Heritage Hall. And I put the pros and cons of each. Here’s an excerpt:

Kyle Whittingham, Utah

Pros: Whittingham gets portrayed as a life-long Utah native but actually lived in Glendora until the eighth grade. He knows the Pac-12, knows Southern California, knows how to coach, and wins with less talent.

Cons: He makes so much sense, he hasn’t got a chance.

I’m surprised Wof hasn’t mentioned the article ESPN put out yesterday about USC and more surprised he hasn’t mentioned Tim Tessalone’s quote about $100 donors.

  Run for the hills. USC’s gonna go broke. I agree with Tessalone. The Baby Donors (Wolfie should love that) have no power, never have and never will. The Coliseum is not being revamped for them. Duh.

Many cons have to do with trashing former coaches.
Most USC followers could write a much more informative article.
Tell us which coaches would bring out the physical style of football we need to return to? Which ones motivate . With CAL tomorrow early, any Football to talk about?

A much different style than Utah , Heltons adjustments will be interesting to see.Practices have been very physical , USC football. Something tells me if we win out, many former players (Marcus.. Can we get a coach that is confident enough to feature the run, with an established tailback? Is it that difficult to do at USC anymore? Because the Trojans have turned into a weak finesse , bubble screen University, which is usually the sign of a weak coach, that feels he has to win with mirrors.
