Steve Sarkisian was a big advocate of the latest theories in sports science and talked about how this led to only one season-ending injury at Washington in 2013.
”“We really invested in that a year ago at Washington,” he said. “We had one season-ending injury a year ago at Washington (in 2013). USC had 19. We were a no-huddle team a year ago, they were a traditional huddle team. So I think there are things we can do to preserve our players to get the best out of them.”
So I guess no one should bring up that USC’s lost four key players (Max Tuerk, Toa Lobendahn, Cameron Smith and Lamar Dawson) to season-ending injuries while Isaac Whitney and Marvell Tell will be lucky to come back before a bowl game. But hey, I forgot, many of those injuries occurred under Clay Helton. It must be his fault.
Steve Sarkisian thought he was alot smarter then he really was, and that was one of his biggest problems. People say Lane Kiffen has a big ego, which he does, but Sarkisian’s was much bigger, and he never did anything to justify his opinion of himself. That’s what happens when your handed opportunity’s that were not warranted.
Sounds like your describing Fred
The players werent smart enough to take the same meds Sark was?
injuries are part of football, they cannot be eliminated. But, wow, Scott hates Sark. It took Scott 3 years to stop posting about Kiffin. Let’s see if Scott can let this one go in 2 years. strive for improvement Mr. Wolf.
Kicking people when they’re down is what Scott does best… and Sark with being an alcoholic, who’s obviously in denial, it is simply icing on the cake…….
I’m already missing the photos of Kiffin’s bedroom that Scottie got from the real estate agency.
I think Scott either went to an open house, or broke into Kiffins bedroom to take those pics. Kiffin reported some of his underwear went missing around that time.
Scott crashes open houses for the free grub.

Woke up, fell out of bed,
Dragged a comb across my head (bwahahaha!)
Found my way downstairs and drank a cup,
And looking up I noticed I was late.
Found my coat and grabbed my hat
Made the bus in seconds flat
Found my way upstairs and had a smoke,
Somebody spoke and I went into a dream……
Comb? Ha!
Ten seconds flat? Ha!
I went into a dream? Ha! (I was already in a dream state)
More like a COMA! .. Ha!
Found my coat? Ha! (I only wear soccer sweaters)
Gotta love Wolf using injured players and an alcoholic to take a shot USC. He is the best thing to ever happen to UCLA. Except when we hired Steve Alford.
This one makes it to the Wolfian Logic Top Ten – congrats!
Nice job in trolling the previous head coach. You’re getting weirder, Wolf.
#Helton2016 is trending for players and recruits
Wow, somehow you’ve interpreted “limit major injuries” as some type of guarantee that guys won’t get their knees rolled up on and getting their ACL’s blown out. Good to see that your “inside” information two days before the Oregon game centers around manufacturing cheap shots against a fired coach. I would tell you to try harder, but the last time you did that, you were all in on Mike Riley getting the SC job.
It’s football, a contact sport, injuries happen. Was it the Green Bay Packers head coaches fault when Jordy Nelson got hurt without even making any contact with any other player?
Please everybody stop making fun of Mr Wolf. He is a friend of mine and this constant ridicule is going to leave a scar
Most of the injuries have come during games. I think the technology is more for making sure guys aren’t overworked in practice leading to injury. It’s hard to stop injuries during games, especially with a roster hovering around 65 available guys.
who cares what Sarkisian thought or thinks .. he probably saw this on TV and started running his mouth , per usual.
Hey wonder how rehab is going LOL
