Will USC Have 1,000-Yard Rusher?

Steve Sarkisian always had one as a head coach. Ronald Jones has 785 yards so it might be tough during the regular season.

    • Scottie knows that misspellings and insults generate hits. Scottie is an Evil Genius.

      • When people have no pride in the quality of their work and settle for mediocrity, this is what you get.

  1. We just want to win games. Anyways bowl games and regular season stats are combined nowadays so RoJo has 3 maybe 4 games to reach 1,000 yards. We’re focused on Oregon.

      • We must get the running game going early on Pete. We need to get ROJO and Davis in a rhythm. We’re gonna eat lightning and crap thunder!

        • Absolutely !!!! The OL needs to take control from first snap.Back to what we have been saying from last Friday……Gut Check for every player …From Special teams on….
Quiet the crowd, send them to the exits…..
Turn this into the second coming of the Utah games…our victory and the 60+ Utah put on them…

        • Score >>>>. 48—41 Su’a scores 3 TDs,….or 59–52. Smith scores
          2,Rojo 2 Davis 2 plus two D/TD. Or the D’s take over and it’s 28-24
          All USC……..we win this game!!!!

          • I think it’ll take at least 30 points for either team to win. Although I’ve been way off the last two weeks predicting the games due to our slow starts. I say 38-34 SC. Juju goes for over 140 yards receiving with 2 TD’s. ROJO and Davis run for 160 together and the defense comes up with some turnovers. Adoree and Marshall play big defensively (I REALLY HOPE!). The Oregon crowd is excited early, but SC leads through the whole game. Trojans win!

          • All of the “stars” on the SC roster need to play like it in this game. ADOREE HAS GOT TO MAKE AN IMPACT SOMEWHERE IN THIS GAME offensively, defensively or on special teams. And I’m with you on Juju, you get the sense of feeling that he’s just gonna have a massive game.

  2. If RJ does not get 1000 yards then SC is in trouble at Oregon and against SUCLA because apparently only he and Davis will be running, and SC needs a running game to have a chance.

  3. Yatd = Yards after touchdown. It is the distance the player has to walk after he scores a touchdown. Leave it to Mr Wolf to find another key stat missing from the USC program.

  4. Sure, why not. John Robinson had a bunch. So did Tollner. Not sure why Sark is any more relevant.

  5. A firm no, because I have no clue what a “yatd” is. However, I don’t think it would be too tough to gain 215 yards against teams two that average giving up 173 & 182 yards per game.

    Try harder!

  6. The matter of “hits” on this blog has me a bit baffled because I keep seeing an ad from the folks at InSinkErator. I had one installed in my house earlier this year after researching on the internet. I also see ads from other companies I’ve done business with in the past few years. I can’t imagine how this helps the advertiser, if I have already purchased their product. BTW InSinkErator is a great product and company. Sally has a long riff about this subject. We beat Oregon by 3.

  7. 1000 yard rushers are a rare commodity these days at USC, because they’ve had finesse type coaches over the last few years. But Buck Allen did get over 1400 yards last season, but that was influenced by Tim Drevno, who’s pretty much doing the same for Michigan right now. If Clay Helton happens to get the position permanently, then maybe he will go after Greg Roman as his offensive coordinator, then SC will go back to a physical running game.
