USC-UCLA Picture Of The Day

1957.CARD.STUNT

In 1957, the Trojan Squires pulled a memorable prank at the USC-UCLA game. During each Bruins card stunt, a cardinal and gold “SC” appeared in the upper left, as seen above.

  1. That same type of prank today would be met with cries of bullying….”Please don’t stab our precious grass!!!”… we were simply aerating their lawn……

    • With a fake sword, much like KU’s fake image.

I’m surprised the toejams aren’t nicknamed the Lidicians.

    • It was a great prank. It’s sad that the tradition of card stunts has been dropped by both schools.

      • Although, it would be cool if they performed the card stunts using iPads…..you could perform them even during night games…..

  2. Cute. Since there aren’t any wins over UCLA in recent memory, you guys are reminiscing about old pranks.

    • Recent memory? I guess you are an old timer with an advanced case of dementia. Do you just come around the week prior to the game with the Trojans with your stupid little bruin bear picture. What a jerk. Get a life just like your crazy buddy buckethole.

  3. wolfman, why don’t you ever mention when the Bruins went all Sinaloa Cartel on George the Tirebiter and kidnapped him, drugged him, shaved UCLA into his hind quarters and dumped him off at the World Champeen LAT to ensure they put the photos on Page One???? (they did by the way)

now THAT was a PRANK, bay-BEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

is it because George was your favorite, wolfman???

dont tell me this stuff is getting too ROUGH and TUMBLE for YOU, now, wolfman???

    • Bucket, I love a good troll just like the next guy, but I’m honestly terrified that a person like you is living among us in the general public. I can’t imagine what special kind of crazy you are in real life.

    • you are the biggest pussee around buckethole. don’t worry about rough and tumble. Remember what Jack Nicholson said….
