Here’s a color photo of the 1963 Rose Bowl that shows Ron Butcher catching a 13-yard TD pass on a tackle-eligible play to give the Trojans a 7-0 lead over Wisconsin. USC held off Wisconsin, 42-37 and the game set 11 Rose Bowl records. With the victory, USC won the national championship.
