  1. Petros wants to know how the games are going at the Galen Center. He heard that USC has a legit basketball team and the crowds are getting better.

      • He talked about USC sweep of UCLA over the years and made sure the last two (I believe it was 2008 and 2002) he was there!

Yes it is killing him – you never repeatedly bite the hand that feeds you – something he and his blowhard father never had a clue about.

          • ….and one has to wonder is Mike Garrett a bit concerned of how Petros will act up over on City Terrace i.e. CSULA?

He is…yes he is…..and Petros still hasn’t a clue of why he got sacked at USC….if only…

Gone are the days….my daddio John running inteference for me….my grandma hustling Janice Hahn for the new builds over on Western Avenue…and what do I (Petros) have? Nuthin’….butkes…rien….

Yeah fool ….you;re like the bel-air tech trolls that squat here….in fairness you make a lot of scratch but forever ‘Petros’ you’re stained with the fact Pat Haden butt launched your back end….

            He did…and there you are….a shill for bel-air tech….

          • Does this site have a translator app for Alvarado and Yolo posts?
            I’ve got to know!

          • He is more of a Trojan than you will ever be! He was the Captain of the football team. He strapped on a helmet and represented southern cal in the trenches. Have some respect! Papadakis scored 16 touchdowns. In 1999 and 2000 and was voted most inspirational!

“This individual has made a choice to work, a choice to sacrifice, to put himself on the line 22 Saturdays in two years to represent you, southern cal university. That kind of commitment and effort deserves and demands your respect.
            Papadakis is your TrOXan!

          • RussoSoviet, is that you??? Glad to see at least somebody take the reigns as the resident communist alcoholic!

      • He actually made a joke about himself the other day. Money brought up the SC/UCLA upcoming game and asked Petros if he would be attending and Petros playfully said “I won’t be attending, I’m too embarrassed, it’s too soon.” I think he was 50/50, half kidding and half serious.

        • Make no mistake, Petros is clearly butt-hurt that USC canned him. He really misses all the attention. And now that USC’s decent, people are actually tuned in and he’s not there. His loud-mouthed dad hopefully banned himself, unfortunately probably not for good.

Petros, always scrappy and loud, can be funny sometimes, but he couldn’t deal with the Haden upper crust money thing. Petros belongs to the over-the-top bathroom joke crowd. It’s not for everybody, except for the uninvited Trolls like Just Squats.

          • I take it his dad and his “partners” won’t be making his USC/Alabama-Sam “Bam” Cunningham film after all.

          • Was John the author or part of the Doc? I remember a year or two ago he was on Petros and money talking about it, but I thought he said it was an actual movie

          • He was interviewed a lot in the doc. Don’t know if he authored the book, but he certainly was involved.

        • Haha ha – well he’s not that funny, that’s the problem

You are the man, Sam! GREAT call on Vavae Malepeai!

          • The Ducks were pulling their hair out over losing Malapeai. Losing him to USC on signing day after he was committed since June was definitely a deep wound for them! Serves them right. They tell kids who are committed that they are forbidden to take anymore official visits, yet they are allowed to try and flip kids who are already committed. Lol!

        • He was team captain as was your boy that jumped off the balcony to save his drowning nephew.

          • The rah rahs actually think sportwriters and announcers can alter the outcome of athletic contests.

  2. PLEASE GOD let Petros remain far away from the Galen Center – they are way better without him

  3. New athletic director was already in the works when Helton was hired. AD will be able to hire a new guy in 2 years!

The writing is on the wall! Clay Helton will be gone in 2 years unless he can run the table…too bad Alabama is going to kick southern cal in the Arsss!

    #Heltonalreadypreparinghisresume

  4. According to sources, Helton was busy looking at lease properties in Manhattan Beach… He was looking at 2 year leases!

    • I think he bought himself an extra year in Manhattan Beach with the crosstown rivalry win and the signing day finish. They’re calling Helton and Andy Enfield…”the BRUIN KILLERS”…

      • Mora’s petrified of Helton and on the run. Mora oversigned to about 30 kids on Wednesday. Several mediocre little gutties are headed for the chopping block. It’ll all become clear before long.

        • I think he made a mistake taking 30 players. Next year’s recruiting class is loaded all around. It’s supposed to rival 2015’s depth and talent. At the current moment USC has 81 players on the roster could take a big 27-28 man class. I’d imagine two walk-ons or transfers would get the remaining rides. Not a 100% sure on the numbers. That’s how many players Helton said SC has now after signing day, but we’re gearing up for the talented 2017 class. Sark did a good thing taking more kids last year so he would give us a chance to take couple of extra kids next year.

          • I think USC has the regular 25 allotted rides for their 2017 class. They used their 25 schollies for 2016 per> 5-BS in 2015 + 20 signing day (1/3/16) recruits. UCLA only signed 19 in their 2015 class (with 5 EE in 2016) counting against that class. Use’em or lose’em. They should have had a full 25 for 2016 and 25 for 2017. I think!

      • Clay has been living on “the hill” as long as he’s been at USC and getting the head coaching gig isn’t going to change that.

        • Enfields definitely not done beating up on UCLA. I know you seen how the men of Troy are now embarrassing the Bruins on the hard wood. Helton might’ve not been our choice, but he’s a totally different mind than Sark and Kiffin. Trojans numbers are growing and the Bruins better watch out! Mora and Rosen are gonna be singing the blues next season.

          • Sam,
Duarte left because the offense changed. We are deep at O Line and will now be running an offense more suited to Rosen. He won’t be throwing bubble screens or running an option play when everyone knows he won’t run. With a pro set and the people that better watch out are the DB’s that play against Rosen. Helton’s win streak against UCLA will end at one.

          • J what you lack is what is always the Bruin’s achilles heel as it is with all 2nd tier programs not just yours – no depth – burn through you’re 1.5 starters (30 players) and it’s all down hill.

          • Your offensive line has too many holes. And don’t say Duarte and Payton won’t be missed. Do you really expect Massington and a bunch of true freshman to take over without missing a beat. Polamalu and Rosen together doesn’t sound like a match made in heaven. Two personalities that won’t back down from each other.

          • Our DB’s gave Rosen a tough time. And when we switched up to man coverage he couldn’t move the offense. And with Pendergast running the defense our young secondary will only get better.

          • Just stating that they had big plans for Clark and Broadus. Actually they had big plans for all of their signing day signees from last year, but that class has fallen apart quickly. Now they will look to Eldridge Massington to carry the weight at WR. Does he ring a bell. He decommitted from SC along with Fitts and Vanderdoes. I think UCLA’s offense will see some tougher days next season…

  5. Haden on 710 AM 7:00 pm – when asked about re. the football program he evaded i.e. he listed his career…when asked about JK McKay he said “…the pope (Nikias) chooses his successor…”

Asked about what was the toughest past of the job – no mention about hIring a football coach…no instead…he waxed on about ‘…the John McKay Center…’ Asked about rhe NCAA penalties why were they so severe? Why weren’t you more hard on offense against the NCAA? “It’s behind us now we signed our 2nd class ,, future looks good for USC football…the record was good w.o. 50 scholarship players…. the athletic director job is certainly football but there are 500 students here….(other programs at USC)..

When asked about the vitctory last night goes on about ‘Andy’ (not Enfield)…..”I’m happy for Andy…”

    • It’s fraternity Alvarado, not frat. Frat is a derogatory term that is insulting to our people and your use of this term highlights your insensitivity and prejudice against our minority group. I demand an apology to all fraternity and sorority members immediately.
P.S. If you don’t like fraternities, you don’t really get what SC is all about.

      • Frats? But they are….esp. the moniker ‘frat boy…

Hmm let’s guess the gain in being a member….perhaps a training ground for country club membership? That or the crystal/linen set schmoozing with ‘John Forbes Kerry’….and their battle cry as memorialized by the leader of this crew former Lord Lloyd Bentsen

        “To the hunt!”

        • It has sure been a while since anyone brought up Lloyd Bentsen on this blog. You never know what you’ll find here.

          • Then there’s always “….Jack our jack….if only…..why?….gone are the days….Bobbie….Teddie….Ethel…..who will lead us now?……but there’ll always be Liz Warren…..

        • We fraternity members are an under represented minority, an endangered species and demand you stop using the “F” abbreviation. Don’t make me call the NAAFP!
