Remember These USC Coaches?

When four USC assistant coaches were fired in December, a makeshift staff was put together. Among those elevated were former player Lenny Vandermade, who coached the offensive line and tight ends; volunteer assistant Mike Tuiasosopo, who helped coach the defensive line and graduate assistant Mike Goff, who coached the offensive line for the Holiday Bowl.

It appears they are all still working at USC despite not being hired to the full-time staff. So there is still quite a shadow staff that was originally assembled by Steve Sarkisian.

  1. So you’re mad their loyalty and commitment despite not being full blown assistant coaches is being valued? Why did you go to USC if you hate a familial culture so much?

  2. My favorite was in volume five of The Shadow-Staff Chronicles (“Of Dwarves and Men”), when Crumpkin steals the Sword of Fire from Periclesian, only to be incinerated after falling asleep drunk in the stables of the Inn of the Three Chalices.

  3. sweeeeet scoooop!!! this raises a lot of interesting questions, all with intriguing implications, woIfman!!

you don’t just toss bland blurbs out there…you make us THINK!!

    • A key insight! All this time, these Troxans have complained about El Lobo asking THEM questions, but really he was just employing the Socratic method.
