  1. I was able to view highlights of the USC-ASU game on ESPN during the UCLA-UA halftime.Wide open threes by UA, over and over again. Absolutely pathetic highlight defense by the Trojans !!…..

          • Oregon was exposed by the Dirty Hippies Thursday night. The whole conference lives and dies by the three and the home field refs fouling out the good players on the away team. It’s really unwatchable bad basketball with no fundamentals. It’s almost predictable that the big men on the away team will get 2 quick ticky tack fouls and then be banished to the sideline for the rest of the first half, giving the home team a huge advantage.

          • It was pretty poor in Tucson last night to be sure. Arizona shot 29 more free throws than UCLA. Not going to win many in the wrong side of that gulf.

          • If ASU could have made a free throw in the first half they would have had a double digit lead on the Trojans at half. The referees tried to help ASU but they started out 1-8 at the line.

  2. USC basketball is not quite ready for the big road games. This game nonetheless, its been a very big turnaround season! Now let’s get Arizona. Fight on!

  3. I don’t follow basketball at all. I am just a little because the SC team is doing great. Sure, not quite championship caliber, but then again, only ONE team comes out on top in BB. The improvement is awesome. Remember bRUIN trolls, your team has done NOTHING since the late 90s. And you claim to be a “basketball” school. HAH!

        • Let’s be honest, we would love to make a Final Four after 62 years of Chicago Cubs like curses, freak injuries, near misses and futility.

          • ‘blank’ the Cubs and their former doppleganger sistah’ the Red Sox – blank ’em’ both.

        • They were very good teams than ran into better teams. Nothing to be ashamed of. SC hasn’t been to a Final Four since UCLA won their NC in football. Interesting juxtaposition there.

          • Hey get real – you know more than anyone else here – Altford is a lousy coach a truly lousy coach – the legacy of the program recruits as does USC football ‘but’ that legacy, at UCLA, is hanging by a thread with this clown as your head coach.

Guerrero’s one decision that makes UCLA relevant and he chose Altford? That is what makes the difference btwn. USC and UCLA – we care i.e. we want Haden gone but I don’t see the same at UCLA. No more of the ‘same old same old….’Dan Guerrero is a good civil servant…’always civil…always serving’.

Keep Altford and get ready for the ‘same old same old’. Altford reminds me of Ted Tollner.”Hey we won more than we lost….go ‘Trojans (brewies)!”

          • I was talking about Howland’s teams. Sam said UCLA hadn’t done anything since 1995. Just pointed out the Final Fours. Alford is a bad joke of a coach.

  4. UCLA defeated by Arizona. Arizona shot 45 free throws. UCLA shot 16 free throws. If UCLA’s big men didn’t foul out in the 2nd half, UCLA kicks Arizona’s A## !!! Have your team PLAY BOTH ENDS OF THE COURT, Coach Enfield, or take another road loss.

  5. SC had too many turnovers, I think 20 and didn’t make any three-pointers, I think 1. ASU killed SC with offensive rebounding.

        • It’s too bad because they’re strong in a lot of other areas. It could be their Achilles heal.

          • It’s definitely been our Achilles heel all season. Not many three point
attempts taken in that game. It was really an uninspired game and that can’t happen when you are a team still learning to win games.

        • Hard to understand how the team wouldn’ be motivated after the Ducks lost to Cal Thursday night, giving SC the opportunity to win their first league championship in 3 decades. SC allowed a really bad team to stay with them despite the Scummies being ice cold in the first half from the free throw line and on three pointers. This is a game that should have been an easy blowout win.

    • Boatwright had his worst game of the year. Hopefully he bounces back huge against the Mildcats.

  6. Look at our schedule. We have Utah and Arizona to play as well as a much improved Cal team

  7. In case the rah rahs didn’t know #ClowU BBall has now lost 8 consecutive games after being nationally ranked.. .#Recordsetters

    #Facts

    • Facts are cool. I want to play!
FACT-USC embarrassed UCLA in basketball twice. FACT-UCLA is 13-11 in basketball. FACT-UCLA is eliminated from the NCAA tournament.

      • #Fact is #ClownU really didn’t have “$8 million” for a “big name” coach you rah rahs were dreaming about, rah rahs had to settle for the 1st coach to beat an injury plagued UCLA squad in 5yrs. who happened to hire his brother and his friends because no one wanted to work with him.. .sad #CUSAStrong

        #Goodhire

        • The #’s are lame bubba. You’re trying to look like Bucket and it looks pathetic. You’re better than this….

          • Rah rahs like Sam Bam, PRDan1986 like to imitate my # tags but you know what they say.. .

“It is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation” – HMelville

      • Love your passion but you are incorrect. No one is eliminated until the Pac 12 tournament. Even the Scummies can still make the tournament with that post season gimmick.

          • This is where you lose credibility by going into rah rahism and Helen style predictions sas.. .You have no idea if the ruins catch fire and win it on a neutral court with the parity this year. The two best teams, Oregon and SC, just lost to average teams. So anything is possible, especially with the Pac 12 refs determining outcomes.

        • Let me introduce myself to you Hector. I’m Sam. Now Hector, let me ask you this…do you even know how it feels to be ranked as s #1 team???
          That’s what I thought.
          Thanks for stopping by Hector.
          40-21 USC!

  8. Enfield is a sham of a coach..No chance Boatright leaves early after that performance. Jovanovich is gone after this season, and maybe Metu. Jacobs could play his senior year at another school if able to graduate early. it will be another sweep on the road when AU paste them on Sunday. This team needs to shoot three’s otherwise the more they move the ball around turnovers occur. Notify me when they beat a team from the Big 10, Big 12, ACC, or SEC.

    • Jovanovic can’t make a layup unless he’s by himself and the opposing team grabs rebounds over him without even jumping. He’s not leaving early. Jacobs isn’t going to play for another team even if he graduates early. He’s made it clear that he stayed at SC to play with this particular group of players. Enfield has built this team up from the ground up. He’s beaten two teams who are currently in the top 25 in #17 Arizona and #25 Wichita St. The conference is getting 7-8 teams in the tournament. SC had a definitely played a bad game, but for you to say Enfield is a sham after sweeping UCLA both games by double digits and having 18 wins at the moment is ridiculous. Any time a USC coach beats UCLA and Arizona that sounds like a good season by a coach and his players and the seasons not over!

      • The danger is that the egos of the players will be inflated and they will think they can be like the eff ucla players Levine and Arizza who left and had success despite short and lackluster college careers.

  9. Not ready for prime time…not disciplined enough…talented but not disciplined…
