USC Morning Buzz: Regarding Suspension Of DE Don Hill

USC defensive end Don Hill is not participating in spring practice because of a “team rules violation,” according to Clay Helton. Several sources tell me Hill’s suspension is related to a student-conduct issue that occurred during a social gathering. At the rate student-conduct cases get resolved, it would hardly be surprising to see this last through the rest of the semester. Hill is already out for the rest of spring practice.

    He’s already had a DUI when he went back to Boise in 2015, kid sounds like trouble, maybe it’s time for him to go to Boise State.

    • Yeah! A kid caught driving under the Influence as a minor and Lord knows what else he did in a “social gathering” needs to be treated “fairly.” It’s not like he raped women and car jacked anyone (allegedly)!

    Around this time last year, USC tight end Bryce Dixon was suspended for a student-conduct issue and ultimately left the school. He also ultimately turned to carjacking and armed robberies (allegedly), but that’s a whole other story.

    Hill, a three-star 2014 signee, played in five games as a redshirt freshman last season. He made his most noise off the field, however, as he was arrested in January of 2015 on a drunk-driving charge.

      On the other hand, because bozo u is short handed on the O-LIne, Chad “Wheelie” Wheeler, is reinstated after performing the mandatory punishment of a single private UP-DOWN.

  9. What’s so big about Don Hill ? He’s insignificant, and really wasn’t on the radar to get too much playing time . Nevertheless, he’d be better off transferring to another program, because the negative spotlight will follow him, unless he becomes a standout player .
