How’s The View?

COLISEUM.PRESSBOX

I forgot to mention it this morning. But how are those seats to the side of the gigantic pressbox not obstructed? Or will those tickets say “obstructed view.”

  1. Why don’t you ask the architect? I’m sure they have these plans in a computer model and can visualize the view from any seat.

  2. if Swanny could only read the fan base, he would hit a home run by naming this monstrosity the Scott WoIf Pressbox. alas and alack, i doubt he has the cognitive ability to pull this off after getting knocked out so many times by Atkinson.

we may have to wait for Petros to be named AD, wolfman.

      • in the history of the Cadre, we’ve only allowed ONE trOXan grad to join. i won’t reveal the person’s name, but the initials are SW…SW

        • Chuckie, I have some serious reservations as to whether the Blogger graduated from USC. His many typos and disjointed train of thought say “No” – and we haven’t even mentioned his faulty logic. I just may ask Donald Trump to look into this situation.

          • helen, i’m afraid you just don’t understand what he’s doing here. wolfman is a Beat Style blogger, you know, stream of consciousness, rapid impressionist images and non-adherence to the suffocating conventions of the “Pop Media”.

you’re probably the type to criticize Jack Kerouac’s grammar!! put another way, wolfman is like a Jazz Master in a world full people playing Chamber Music. they said Van Gogh was a kook in HIS lifetime….

          • Vincent Van Gogh combated his anguishing mental illness — frequent episodes of depression, paralyzing anxiety and the symptoms of bipolar disorder — which would eventually claim his life in 1890, shortly after his 37th birthday. Sounds like the Blogger to me.

Isn’t the Blogger turning 37 this year? Ruh Roh.

          • I do not understand both the ‘n’ & the ‘e’…and while we are on the subject, you left out the ‘k’ at the end. Prince is the guy who just passed due to the toxicology flu.

  3. The obstructed, cheaper seats are for the little gutties who like to Troll USC games. There’s a big market as they never get to watch a conference championship team of their own.

    • Bucket, lease and Ted can’t afford the Battle for LA tickets. Hell lease would have to do extra chorus to get more allowance money from mommy to attend the game.

  4. Dude, you posted this whole series of complaints on October 30th last year and then had the same obstructed views follow up on November 3rd. You are literally on a perpetual complaint loop. On the November post, you credited a reader who pointed it out, so I guess you’re just flat out stealing other people’s material now. Either get rid of the search function or write your own stuff. Wolf, doin’ work!

  5. Talk about obstructive views. Today’s Press Enterprise featured an article written by Rich Hammond (OCRegister) Jack Wang and Vincent Bonsignore reporting on their take on the NFL Draft. If I want to see what they really think I need to go to the Dailynews website. Why did they buy the paper? To keep the Times from having a monopoly?
And yes Scott appears to be the USC beat reporter.

  6. Wolf, I’m not sure, but I believe USC will use an experienced firm to take care of the construction and these issues will be addressed. This is a “rendering” Wolf, it’s not the actual Coliseum..it’s just a picture, easy now….

  7. I think and hope the name across the top of the tower will actually be “University of Southern California Memorial Coliseum”

Keep the “LA” on the exterior of the peristyle, but after more than $300 million investment ($70m in initial repairs plus $270m in upgrades) by USC in the Coliseum, I think the university has earned naming rights.
