Can You Say Home-Field Advantage?

COLISEUM.SUITE.2

Who would dare want to play USC in a renovated Coliseum with this imposing section of the stadium?

  1. Speaking of home field advantages:

Here’s Chris Landon of the UW Dog Pound on ucla’s Dan Guerrero:

“One thing is clear: Dan Guerrero knowingly and blatantly seized the power to defy the will of his conference and, in doing so, directly revealed himself as a charlatan and a swindler. He took action that he knew only UCLA would benefit from and tried to hide his motivations behind the “will of the NCAA.” His vote was meant to ensure that other schools were locked out of the Southern California market and that rival USC would have a more difficult time recruiting on a national level.

Guerrero acted in a way that served only his program’s needs and betrayed the good faith entrusted to him by his colleagues. The fanbases of every other PAC-12 program now understand exactly what the disenfranchised UCLA fanbase have long understood about the AD of their program. He is a big, fat, traitorous sleazeball who more than deserves the nickname ‘Chianti.'”

    • While I think if anything, this helps USC, leave it to a gutty to double cross the entire conference. Sure sucks for the schools like WSU and OSU who have a hard time getting kids to their camps.

      • There’s now a likelihood that Cheater Dan’s move will backfire and that the satellite issue will be revisited. The controversy certainly now has national legs and Cheater Dan, the leader of the little gutties, has egg all over his face. He may still be hungry.

        • But no sanctions for UCLA.

Sanctions are reserved for bozo u, where breaking the rules is a way of life.

          • Come on sukah head – woodie was the all time cheat but hey ‘…everyone loves and covered for the Woodrow….Woodrow Chevrolet…the sweetest con ever….just ask Jerry Tarkanian

    • Well did you happen to hear Mora’s outrage last week when PMS – Papadakis and Smith both separately asked why he (Guerrero) voted that way. Mora went on how honorable Guerrero was, how fair how hard working the usual.

To anyone listening it was Mora making the vote and Guerrero doing his bidding.

This was Mora’s move and you’re right “…if we can’t recruit nationally (and they can’t) we’ll screw USC from doing so.”

      • Recruiting has long been an intensely national sport. USC has more All-Americas from outside the state of Calif than most schools have All-Americas period.

USC also has the surplus money to have satellite camps wherever it wants if that’s an adjustment that needs to be made.

For once, I applaud Larry Scott for busting Chianti Dan in the chops and blowing his cover. Now the entire little gutty football program looks afraid and paranoid. Now they’ve got good reason because the world is in on what really goes on in Wimpwood.

        • Got it – you should have heard the intensity and umbrage in Mora’s tirade re. any inference per Guerrero – it was telling and both Papadakis and Smith were so amazed by Mora’s tenor they re-played it the last hour of their show.

          • I’m sure PP didn’t call it for what it is. He just can’t bite that hand. So suddenly he goes into his paycheck shell. Turns out he’s got his orders too. Love it.

          • Yes there was the obvious need to not go to far into reality but he went as far as he could with the inference – Mora’s “I’m here for these kids and so is Dan Guerrero. We’re building something here no one else can match…” The usual ‘hey look over here…we’re relevant…hello!:

          • I brought Jonnie and Nellie together in my little red covette….I did it and then laughed

          • Start early again Commie SUCC? The closest you ever got to a Red Vette was at your vacuum station at Guido’s spit shine carwash.

          • I heard it. Mora sounded soooo defensive and it was obvious he was not being forthcoming about the matter.

    • LOL Mushy, no doubt bozo u wishes they had an AD that did his job to the benefit of bozo u.

Fact is bozo u spent millions searching high and low for an experienced AD candidate and settled for a washed up, ancient bozo hero with exactly AD zero experience.

If DG is panned by hack, bozo u shill for doing what;s the best interest of UCLA, then DG is doing his job. You can bet DG has never paid a premium an alcoholic FB HC and negotiated the HC’s contract in a down scale Seattle bar.

      • Tell us about the night you channeled Jonnie outside the mocked up ‘den’ with the docent. What did Jonnie tell you to do?

The best for me was Lavin’s indifference to ‘woodie’ when he coached home games at Pauley.

        • Former Texas coach Abe Lemons once quipped, “I guess if you have a Pyramid of Success–and Sam Gilbert–you can always be a winner,”

          • Lucifer alway says, “Even if bozo u featured God and 12,000 Angels, they’d still go ONE & DONE for the Tournament and still be 0 for Forever BB National Chumps – choka, choka, choka!”

  2. Back to this picture? It looks a lot like a Ucla grad. I mean take a closer look there’s nothing going on upstairs.

  3. Rents rants about bball ..dude get a fricken grip..Its a football issue. . #pendejo

  4. I wish I wish I hadn’t let the limousine lib kids vote back in 1966

    As Coach Bradley noted, Jayon
Brown has probably gotten more reps
than anyone else because of some injuries to the linebacking corps.
Overall, Jayon had the quote of the day:

    This is great. I feel
like we should have a stadium on campus because I know it’s a struggle
going to the Rose Bowl every Saturday. A lot of people came out and
    supported it.

From Jayon’s lips to Dan Guerrero’s ears. An
on-campus stadium would definitely be a great thing even if it might
    make tailgating tougher.
