Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa Commits To Alabama

No surprise tonight as quarterback Tua Tagovailoa of Hawaii selected Alabama over USC and Ole Miss. Remember this was foreshadowed when USC suddenly offered QB Davis Mills, who is committed to Stanford. Should we say Lane Kiffin 1, Clay Helton 0. Or how about this: Now USC can sign another wide receiver!

  1. Actually this was foreshadowed when his dad learned the median home price in Alabama is $122,000. Also a job would be waiting for him when they arrived. SEC knows how to git er done.

    • Another bozo u “lock” committing elsewhere. Oh wole there’s still a ton of uncommitted 3 star QB’s bozo u can recruit.

    • this was foreshadowed when Clay Helton got outcoached at home against Washington and lost the Holiday Bowl to Wisconsin. But then Helen believes Clay is the second coming.

      • It’s funny how the trolls talk smack like their team won 11 games. You guys lost 40-21 and haven’t won a RB or conference in years, the Bruins are worthless and your face cupping coach is leaving after this year

        • Hold on a minute while our friend Fred decides who his football team is.

          • Where is “Cerritos City College” located Einstein. Stumping Pinky is pretty simple.

          • Why ? YOU need me to call you the little yellow bus, so they can pick you up and drive you to school .. Norwalk if you pass go.. Need a token Rimmer? ..

        • it’s funny how USC fans talk smack beating UCLA and yet no one at the national level talks about you any more….it’s about Alabama and Clemson and Oklahoma…USC is in the past…as in history…enjoy the Helton Era…bahahahaha….

        • But still UCLA had 8 players drafted, while bozo city college had just 4 drafted.

  2. USC may be about to sign an OT by name of Linwood Foy, 6’5″, 275 lbs., a JUCO transfer whose dream school is USC (apparently not related to walk-on LB Joel Foy). Home is Panorama City, California (San Fernando Valley). Played at College of the Canyons. Eligible to join team for fall camp (?). How about a DT too?

      • Go look at Foy’s tape. He is a pulling tackle!!! He hits guys, not just tries to absorb blocks from opponents. From what I can see he is an athlete not just a big body as USC has settled for the past few years. He played tight end in HS. Foy and the 4 star OL from Georgia coming in the Fall could put some badly needed pressure on the starters and both would be in a position to start the next year after Banner and Wheeler graduate.

    • Looks like SC will have a great OLINE class. And I mean a big, talented group. They lead for AZ OT five star Austin Jackson and Chuck Filing Filiaga from Aledo, Texas. And are still in it for Wyatt Davis. Nothing in stone yet, but expect SC to clean up later.

        • Seriously. He doesn’t belong at Bama or USC. He’d do a lot of damage at Auburn or Oregon.

          • He doesn’t have a great arm. The kid incoming in 2018 is hands above Tua in talent.

          • Corrall is the best QB prospect since Rosen. He’s definitely worth our wait. And Yeah Tua probably needs to rethink what kind of offense he wants to play in.

          • Yep, I saw 2 of his games. He is a legitimate Heisman candidate within 2 years at USC.

          • SC is cornering the best players from Oaks Cristian. Michael Pittman, Matt Corrall and his teammate LB who is also commited to the Trojans.

          • Yeah because Tua didn’t want to play for an OC that lost to Stanford twice…and lost to Washington at home…and got outcoached in the Holiday Bowl.

          • Remember we beat your team. And Moran was out coached by 5-7 Mike Riley and Nebraska in the Chicken Nugget bowl. Oh…the Nebraska team that USC beat the previous year in the Holiday bowl.

          • is that the standard? you claim you beat “my team” (when UCLA is not my team)….so basically what you are saying is that you don’t care any more about winning the Rose Bowl…all you care about is beating UCLA…that’s the standard…I LOVE it…

          • why do you care?…you seem to be insecure about your football team????? is it because they aren’t elite any more???????

          • Fred you just commited trash talk suicid*. That answer screams your teams not better than USC. And with that I’ll say that’s what I thought.

          • Your answer always screams that you root for USC…a program that is no longer elite…so if you have to wake up every day and believe you matter…more power to you. 🙂

          • Fred remember this about MY TEAM…….

I can’t count the NC’S and Rose Bowls on my fingers and toes…..

            Game Over Fred.

          • please tell me you spent a lot of money in San Diego for that loss to Wisconsin!

  3. My call is that tua will flip eventually to somehwere else, it’s still way too early for the kid to see straight – and we shouldnt care about such trivial things, especially when the blogwriter admits himself the worthlessness of it all – so why then are we even reporting on it? How about some inside info on SC football in the here and now?

    • Here is some inside info, SC finished 8-6 last year. But then again, maybe you want to get some “inside info” from other sites about how great the program is doing right now. Like the amazing total of four players who were drafted.

      • USC still beat the hell out of you. Hah, hah, hah.

Crosstown Cup owned by USC again, as usual.

Can’t you little gutties do anything right? You even Troll like losers.

        • He’s still high and coming down from their three game winning streak which feels like it was light years away after the 40-21 smack down they took at the Coliseum.

          • Expect some huge recruiting fallout from the Bo Davis fiasco, chances are Tua is a soft commit ..

          • Fred is a Stanford fan a team we are well ABOVE 600 % in wins vs losses

          • It sounds like it, The entire Pac12 aside from USC should be thankful for putting them on the recruiting map.. The cycle will come to abrupt end starting in 2018.

          • They can thank the football gods that we lost 30 scholarships and that Peter Carroll went to Seattle.

          • Can you imagine what it would have been like if ucla lost 30 rides over 3 years? I would have loved to watch the Face-Cupper operate when he didn’t have the luxury of running off little gutties because of massive over-signing every year.

          • I would imagine it being something like SMU and the Death Penalty. UCLA doesn’t have the strength or traditional power to get past those kind of sanctions.

          • The ruin facilty, Chianti Dan and Chancellor Blockhead would use NCAA probation as an excuse to rid the school of evil racist sexist patriarchal football and replace it with wymens ping pong.

          • I don’t know about that. I get a vibe that Lynn Swan would’ve at least tried to fight it.

          • Mushy’s still whining about getting caught.

UCLA’s AD wouldn’t walk into a courtroom and tell the Judge he has no business messing with UCLA – you know like Emperor Garrett did for bozo u.

The big problem with bozo u is it doesn’t have much IQ to trade for common sense.

          • Jackie,
When you don’t cheat, you don’t have to worry about losing 30 rides. You still don’t get it, do you?
            #livingindenial

          • What I get is this:

USC runs L.A. We own the city. We own the Cup as well as football and basketball. The Cup should probably be retired and just stored at USC permanently which is its home twice as much as ucla anyway.

Also ucla says they don’t really care about the Cup – because it’s too hard for them to win. Kind of like ucla and the Rose Bowl. The little gutties can’t even get into the game let alone win it. They’re basically banned. So ucla says the RB isn’t a big deal any more. Like the Cup. Whatever ucla can’t win, they minimize. That’s the bruin way.

          • For a school that normally only wants to talk about men’s programs, you
are pretty proud of your women winning this one for you. Your Women
outscored your men’s teams 2 to 1 and UCLA men’s teams outscored SC as
well. We will just have to settle for adding a couple more Nattys before
the end of this athletic season.

        • So what. bozo u had just 4 players drafted and one shouldn’t have been. UCLA, the team you love to defeat had 8 players drafted. LOL.

        • For a school that normally only wants to talk about men’s programs, you are pretty proud of your women winning this one for you. Your Women outscored your men’s teams 2 to 1 and UCLA men’s teams outscored SC as well. We will just have to settle for adding a couple more Nattys before the end of this athletic season.

        • how did you enjoy that loss in San Diego last year? and you still think I’m a Bruin fan?…maybe I’m just a USC fan that doesn’t drink the Kool Aid (or the Patron as USC coaches have had the past few years).

          • Your Bruins lost to a team that punched you in the mouth, and they petitioned to get a bowl game. Lol the wiffle of Westwood! 40-21

          • Zero so far, and USC had the most BCS wins during the BCS run games.

          • did it hurt to lose to Stanford twice last year? and cling to that “well we can win the Holiday Bowl”…..

          • did you like how many Ohio State players were drafted compared to USC this year?

          • I rep several players through college football. .OSU has a great program as does Alabama and USC. USC was blatantly stopped in its tracks because the NCAA was going to make huge monies off the SEC. The Pac is a great conference. … USC made it millions of dollars and the other complained, that is why say be thankful, your teams did well, but that is over..

          • Nope.. I had 17 guys in this years draft. 7 drafted and 8 signed as FAs , I have a Cal guy and a kid from Nevada looking for work.

          • please I hope you and Sam Bam keep typing responses while I’m away for the next few days and have a life 🙂

          • Keep rooting for Alabama doh! I mean The Denver Broncos doh! I mean Knute Rock Rockne and Notre Dame doh!
Who is it again? Or who is it today???

          • Keep rooting for 8-6 USC….I mean losing to Washington at home…I mean losing to Stanford twice…I mean doh!….did it hurt to lose to Notre Dame last year?

          • Tough losses for sure. At least we’ve beaten Stanford lately. They got us this year. We got them the two previous seasons. And Notre Dame beat us ok. What happened to your UGLY Bruins at the Coliseum. The Bruin parents near my seat were crying. Are you over that ?

          • again…you think I’m a UCLA fan? how desperate are you? Sam…did you enjoy Lane getting a ring this year when you were crying at home?

          • Fred. You came here to INSIDE USC running your gaping hole about who? UCLA. Quit backing off it. Or stick to a team. If they’re not your team then get lost because you refuse to stand next to one.

          • Sam…you keep posting about your sorry .500 program that hasn’t done anything in a decade…stick to your team and enjoy mediocrity…I know it hurts…

          • Keep hiding behind your skirt and panties that you call your college football team.

          • Hey Fred, I got great memories of losing to Terry Donahue, Don James, Bobby Bowden at the Coliseum. We lost those games, but they were some of the best match ups I’ve seen. Then we won more Titles and Rose Bowls Fred. But I bleed Cardinal and Gold. We’ve had our good days and bad days. Where’s your loyalty reside??????
            PLEASE CLAIM A TEAM!

          • It’s called loyalty. Its worked out for many Trojan fans. 11 National Championships will earn a lot of blood, sweat and tears. LOYALTY Fred. You’ll never know what that means.

            Night night Freddy!

          • LMAO about ruin parents crying. The irony though is, they should have been crying when little johnny signed to play err, jump the fence for Thug U aka ugly. Ugly is nothin’ but a joke, just like johnny the player and Johnny Cheetin’ Wooden.

          • My life allows me privileged vacation time, it helps when you’re the managing partner of. Multi million dollar company and make a secured and stable living!

          • Hey we have more fb nattys than Stanford and Ucla and whomever else you root for.

          • None of bozo u FB ballot box bozo u scrap paper “nattys” are recognized by the NCAA.

The bozo u “natties” are nothing but monopoly money.

          • No I own the big one, I run the largest sports agency in Ca.

          • Well la dee da!
If so, why do you live in a stable?
…especially when sporting such a classy handle.

          • You don’t like getting kicked around in the face on a Trojan board yet you got nothing better to do than to hang around here. You really a Trojan fan Troll Boy? Only a little gutty like you would even come up with something like that.

Cry On little gutty. I think they had to call off the Crosstown Cup earlier than ever this year after USC rowed, golfed, volleyballed and sprinted its way to slaughters over you little gutties. Sweet. Give my regards (and a muffin) to Chianti Dan and his slap-down on the satellite camp fiasco.

          • …***while I’m away for the next few days and have a life :)***
            Congratulations to you both.
Fred and Ted are about to be wed.

          • BFD. The BCS is obsolete. Hey Pinky remember the bozo u game in 1923. Snore.

          • Owns your opinion is obsolete since UCLA was knocked out of the first ever BCS title game (see the Hurricane called MIAMI). Hence your hate for the BCS and USC’s great success, am I in the ballpark?

          • But still UCLA had 8 players drafted to the NFL, the third most in the 2016 NFL draft.

BTW Sammy Bang, Bang, Tua, the bozo u lock, committed to Alabama. Wole, there still many 3 Star QB’s that would sign with the sinking bozo u FB program.

          • Not a surprise to me Owns. He was a Trojan one second then Alabama won him over. You just better hope UCLA actually wins something meaningful while Josh Rosen is a Bruin. The pressure is definitely on you guys am I right or wrong.

          • well you are a USC fan so I’m pretty sure you have been depressed the past decade….

      • Doesn’t UCLA have a blog site, is it “so” pathetic that their fans have to search far and wide to find “anywhere” where they can express their opinions ?

Is it possible that “know one” gives a hoot about anything that resides in Westwood ??

Perhaps “if” UCLA didn’t… “but Nebraska responded with 30 straight points” in their previous Bowl game to a team that the Trojans handled the year before, then “perhaps” there would be “someone”, “somewhere” who would care enough to create a post for the Bruins ???

        Capiche

  4. If I’m being perfectly honest opinion can’t get a real read on this kids potential. He’s got great athleticism and looks like a good “spread Qb”. Maybe he wasn’t meant to be a Trojan. I’m not sure he can do well in an Alabama offense. Still he seems to be a good kid and I wish him the best. As for Clay Helton and USC with recruiting it seems obvious with their view of USC….JUST WIN. STOP TALKING AND WIN!

  5. Either USC was going to dog Tua Tagovailoa during the recruiting process, which they did, or wait until he signed his letter of intent then bury him on the bench . But nevertheless, he was never going to be the starting quarterback for the Trojans. Lane Kiffen did the same thing to Jessie Scoggins a few years ago, and regardless of his academic struggles and injuries , he was never going to start for SC either.

  6. USC football is being run by a moron: Ed Roski. He was the one who paid for Kiffin and Sarkisian. He was also behind the decision to hire Pat Haden. The Lynn Swann decision also reeks of Roski.

He’s become USC’s version of Al Davis. He needs to hurry up and die.

  7. My final thought before I move on with my day.. NOT including the 2005 season for USC *0-1 as they forfeited the season due to *NCAA corruption..

But here I go as STATED by the hapless trolls who continue to say USC has NOT been relevant these past 10 years.

Well, I hate I break it to the LITTLE YELLOW BUS GANG.

According to the stats and records of the Pac12… You are inaccurate on your blind attack on USC.

Mind you, It’s your word..Here we go over the past 10 seasons.

    USC…… 92-37
    Ucla…… 75-53
    Stanford 89-52

I don’t care about 8 vs 4 drafted, I don’t care about 3-1 over the past 4 years.. Your argument is that USC is a low level .500 football team.

Here the stats, have at it with your idiotic minds to figure out where you stand, as you see in black n white ..You are foolish!

    Fight On!

  8. “Tua Tagovailoa’s commitment to Alabama” ?

Oh no, please not that ???

The guys a “Joke”, who cares !

    Now it’s Alabama’s problem, good ruck…

    MoveOn
