Bo Calvert Commits To USC

Linebacker Bo Calvert, a Class of 2018 prospect from Oaks Christian, has committed to USC. He is a teammate of quarterback Matt Corral, who committed earlier this year. Well, USC is recruiting well at Oaks Christian. Give that to the new staff.

          • Dan Jr. My pop’s and me share this blog. He comes on once in a while .. The crazy dude was making me laugh today, I’m 15 and play football at Valencia HS.

          • Thanks. I want to play ball at SC, training with Chris Claiborne and Curtis Conway..

          • Great. Claiborne was a stud in high school, a beast in college and had a stellar pro career. Curtis Conway was a pure football athlete. They were bright spots on some of SC’S average teams. Stick with them and you’ll be fine. Your dad cousin Anthony might be the best Offensive Tackle of ALL TIME, yeah ALL TIME. so you have talent in the blood. Listen to your pops, work hard and the rest will fall into place.

  1. Bo Calvert can verbally commit all he wants, but if suddenly there’s a big rush on outstanding linebackers two years from now, then you better believe he’ll be looking elsewhere.

  2. Bo Calvert commited weeks ago bruh. They don’t give out five stars yet for players in the 2018 class, but for what its worth I’ve heard a few websites call him a five star LB. He’s really excited about playing with his pal Matt Corrall and playing with former teammate Michael Pittman. 6-3 200lbs. And I think he’s best suited at MLB.

  3. When you want a tough, hard-core killer from the mean streets of the greater LA area, always look to Oaks Christian High.

    • How is the oline coach who used to break into homes as a side job doing?

  4. I’ve heard recruiting rankings don’t matter, so we should just sign a bunch of random guys.

  5. But is Bo at the level of performance that an Alabama or Ohio St would recruit and start? We need smart-fast-sizable players who can hold their own against top competition and not disappear when the going gets tough. USC can be patient and find those exceptional players if Helton is the right choice for this program.
