Should USC Have A Satellite Camp?

This is kind of like asking whether you should wear shiny helmets? It doesn’t really matter because USC is so well known and can spend unlimited amounts of money on recruiting. But this is the (somewhat boring) issue that gripped college football.

I checked this week and USC currently has no plans for a satellite camp. There was a report USC, Alabama, Ohio State and TCU would host a camp but a Heritage Hall spokesperson said they were unaware of it.

  1. USC has a few championships under their belt over the last decade, and high school students are still talking about Reggie Bush in all regions, so there’s no need for sattellite camps . Jim Harbaugh needs to do that at Michigan, because they haven’t been relevant since he played there .

    • Exactly…
This decade 92 WINS not including 2005

      Westwood U 75

      Tree City 88

    • You really think kids who were 7 when SC beat Oklahoma remember Reggie Bush?

      • If your a footballer , then maybe, because USC freshmen running Ronald Jones said on many o

  2. With all the $ the SEC & BIG 10 is taking in and the rapidly changing landscape I would advocate for a satellite camp or two. Expanding the reach ( or reinfocing) and recognition of USC is not a bad thing

  3. I say we all should wear shiny helmets. It will keep us safe from the government’s mind-control rays.

  4. True story is that Helton is going to be coaching at camp held at TCU. Coaches from Alabama, USC,Ohio State and TCU will all be coaching at the camp. Your welcome blogger.
PS. They thought about having Mora but then decided face painting was not really relevant in todays game.

      • We can all feel your butt hurt from UCLA not being able to play with the big boys. Maybe they’ll set something up with SDSU and UC Davis.

        • If you’re talking big boys, based on the bozo u’s Pac-12 championship game humiliating performance, bozo u can’t be labeled little boys

          • Wow not sure that would put a school that got beat by us by 20 points? Then lost to sub 500 team in bowl game.

          • Nebraska wasn’t a sub .500 team.

However in 2012, the bozo u “unfinished Bidness” team (LOL), traveled to El Paso to play a sub .500 Georgia Tech team in the Sun Bowl.

            G.T. 21 – bozo u 7. bozo u reached its apex Peter Principle Wise.

            Record: 6-7, 3-5 (Big Ten)

I guess they don’t teach math at Cerritos JC

          • Busted, I stand before you with my hat in my hand. Actually my math is fair, but my information sucks.

Still the bozo u 2012 “unfinished Bidness” loss to Georgia Tech was worse. UCLA didn’t start the season a the #1 pre-season CF team and finish the season 7 – 6, an NCAA record for #1 FB futility. I’m pretty sure the math and information is correct in this case.

      • It’s one thing to make fun of a school it another to fun of someone’s mental state, not very intelligent comments.

      • I laughed at that comment… For the life of me, I don’t understand why Mora just doesn’t move his team to the west side of the stadium, under the press box…

  5. How about a bozo u satellite camp in Albania. Those people are still talking about R. Bush and the $$$$ he made while at bozo u.

Speaking of Bush, how’s his slip and fall St. Louis stadium lawsuit working out?

  6. Does USC need a satellite camp? NO, but it doesn’t hurt. It’s not a bad idea. If kids in the Midwest or east coast will attend a USC camp then great. What do you have to lose?

  7. Yes it should and make its rounds every year to Texas and Florida. It should also probably add Georgia or Louisiana.

  8. absolutely we should. there are kids hundreds and thousands of miles away who would love to see and touch their dream school. bottom line is that it cant hurt…
