  1. Great win – very likable athletes. (And Turner is way ahead of the curve broadcasting this thing. What’s a top Olympic Sport these days? Beach V-ball…..) Glad that Scottie didn’t throw some snark in there about why our hoops & football teams haven’t won recently….

    • Wait. There’s still time for SW to dump on it, even though sand volleyball is the fastest growing NCAA sport in the nation by far. USC will always be the first #1 and will go down in history as one of the greatest SV teams of all time with the way we ran though the rest of the nation’s best today. It was a total slaughter. We were easily on the way to 5-0 over #2, before it was mercy-ended.

      Classy, well-spoken gals and HC too. Perfect USC victory for Mom’s Day.

  4. Great job ladies. But the location of this tournament is just another example of the SEC/NCAA Cabal that is trying to freeze out the west coast. Why are they playing on the red neck Riviera when beach volleyball was invented on the beaches of SoCal?

    • You mean the same SEC/NCAA/ESPN type folks who funded the Longhorn Network to avoid a Pac 12/Big 12 mega-merger to protect own their interests? Naw, can’t believe something like that goes on in this country

    • And why does Georgia get the NCAA tennis championship home court every other year when USC, with 21 titles, is the greatest men’s college tennis power?

      • UHh look I’m not saying GA should get the tourney every year ‘but’ ever seen the tennis court ‘stadium’ at USC? It’s almost as ‘cozy’ as the swim stadium.

        What is astounding is that with everything shoe horned in on the campus the athletes keep coming and winning.
