USC forward Nikola Jovanovic works out with the Denver Nuggets today. There are only five days before players must decide if they will withdraw from the draft.
“If I get a lot of interest, I’ll definitely (stay in the draft),” Jovanovic said this week.
But Jovanovic has another option: He could easily go to Europe and play pro basketball next year.
Why wouldn’t he return to USC? One coach at another school told me this week Jovanovic might worry USC coach Andy Enfield will feature Bennie Boatwright and Chimezie Metu more next season.
I’d be worried too. They came in and handled their buisness.
Absolutely, especially in the Pac-12 tournament and even more so in the 2016 NCAA tournament – that bozo u “D” in the last seconds was instinkingcredible. Choka, choka, choka.

The 2017 bozo u incoming lowly 80th, 146th and 225th rated recruits won’t help.

I agree. We’re picking up good players under Enfield and they’re playing well. Besides the fact we could use Jovanovich he’s really not ready for the NBA. He could barely jump and dunk the ball. He gets bullied down below and he’d probably have a hard time in the D-League. Whatever he does i wish him best, but I think he has a lot to work on.
Unfortunately there is so much money to be made in the various levels of professional basketball that even marginal players leave now.

OK Spanky, beating UCLA 3 times wasn’t that big of a deal in comparison to the goal of the bozo u BB program
That would be:
1) Win 80% of P-12 conf. games.
2) Place 2nd or win the P-12 Tournament
3) Achieve a 4 NCAA seed or better and reach the Final Four.
When UCLA were BB King, defeating bozo u was necessary, because only the conf. champion was selected for the Tournament.
Then as now the bozo u BB program choked when it had to win.
Consider Spanky. lose 3 straight to UCLA but win the BB NC, or beat UCLA 3 straight and fail to advance past the first tournament game.
You’re argument would make sense if ugly actually won the BB NC. But the fact is, bRuin bball and football both got smacked down by USC and didn’t win any championships in the process.
