USC suffered its first loss of the season as the fifth-seeded Trojans lost at fourth-seeded Syracuse, 12-11, in overtime of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday. With a victory, USC (20-1) would have made the Final Four. USC’s Cynthia Del Core scored an unassisted goal with 1:53 left to tie the score, 11-11, and force overtime
No final four, somethings don’t change. Beach bingo, sandbox volleyball on.

Does anybody actually watch it? Go title IX
I’m with you, OTND. Do you get why we play this obscure sport and waste all that money on travel? We could play a much more popular sport in softball with many local programs in the Southland to compete against and cut travel costs. I’d love to hear Pat Haden’s rationale for this.
Lacrosse is very collegiate. Big in the Northeast. Has that classy Ivy League chic. Right up Haden’s alley.
