Adoree Jackson finished third today in the long jump at the NCAA West Regionals in Lawrence, Kan., with a best mark of 24-9.75. It’s not a great mark but the weather was poor with rain and wind.
More important, it means Jackson now has the NCAA championships starting June 8 to try and qualify for the U.S. Olympic Trials. A mark of 26-5 is required and Jackson has not broken 26-feet yet.
Olympics should be getting canceled any time now due to zika

That’s the headline on Drudge this morning.
I bet that makes you all warm and fuzzy inside.
Don’t you worry about Adoree, he and Kiffin know that any publicity is good ink.
They appreciate The Wolf Man secretly as much as we do openly.

Like Wez said ” you can run, but you cannot fly.”
UCLA dynasty… Silly…
So basically he can jump 8 yards. Now if can do that with a ball tucked under his arm…
Wolf, according to the track report Jackson jumped 25-5 &1/4 not the distance you understated above. Please recheck your source now. He definitely should be playing offense with his speed and athletic ability ala Thomas at Oregon a couple of years ago.
Track and Field News confirms Adoree Jackson jumped 7.75m (25-5ΒΌ ), so he’s a foot away from the Olympic qualifying mark.
Jackson is ranked 13th in the nation. The top 24 go to the trials. He will need to jump 27 to make the team. Those are the facts.
