Pat Haden At The Super Bowl

Here’s a glimpse of Pat Haden watching the 1980 Super Bowl from the Rams coaches’ box. Haden was the Rams starting QB until he broke his finger in November and was replaced by Vince Ferragamo. The Rams lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers, 31-19.

  1. I’ll give “St Pat” this: I have always believed had Haden started the SB, the Rams would have defeated Pittsburgh. He engineered, If I remember correctly, a 10 – 9 defeat of an excellent Green Bay team.

Haden used a screwball snap cadence to keep GB’s defense off balance. It was an impressive Haden performance.

Ferragamo to Jack Lambert in numbers is for me is still a recurring Nightmare.

    • Malavasi once fell asleep during a radio interview. It was hilarious. It was so much better than a regular interview, especially the snoring.

      • Am I nuts or has Owns actually contributed some small measure of value to the blog with this post? What’s the hell is going on?

  2. Remember the Super Bowl ticket scandal. Georgia’s husband got busted but we all know who was queen bee.
