With O.J. Simpson’s documentary on this week, here’s a picture of Simpson after his final game at the Coliseum in 1968.

I finally got around to watching part 1 of the OJ documentary last night, and get this: there are a couple of shots of young OJ walking out of an apartment building during his college days, and it was my old building, an old dump on Ellendale Place north of campus. You never know with these things; maybe he didn’t live there at all, and they just wanted to get some shots of him pretending to walk to class. But just seeing young OJ there was surreal indeed! That place was such an s-hole, it could make anybody want to grab a knife and…
A lot of us lived on Ellendale. It was just like a one street strip mall for affordable student apartments. Some great parties. After living in a frat, Ellendale was a welcome relief. Two bedrooms, two baths, a great roommate. Unlimited girls. I had no complaints.
little did the “unlimited girls” know you were stealing their dresses.

That’s where Jacqui’s long journey of awareness and self-discovery began.

Got drunk quite a few times @ Ellendale. Stumbled back to Hoover House from there many times.
Did the Hoover House have a roof when you lived there?
That’s funny, actually it did duce.
I imagine that my old building was in better shape in OJ’s day, but by the time I was there twenty-some years later, we were probably still using the same carpets and furniture from his era. But it allowed us to afford having our own bedrooms, rather than sharing; you can’t have everything. I do hope that they’ve spruced it up since then, though. I hate to imagine how much kids are paying in rent to live near campus these days. They should at least get reliable hot water.
with a few tweaks, you have a great story about how you were OJ’s roommate.

Different eras, but I would like to imagine that I had his old couch.
Talk about a brush with infamy!
So Chuck, who do you like for Finals MVP, Kevon Looney or Kevin Love? It’s hard to say who is doing more for his team and Looney hasn’t gotten off the bench yet.
either way, another Bruin gets a ring.

Big Three – Yeah Right!
Well Scott wolf reminds me of a serial killer! Thank god he doesn’t know where I live.

Celebrating OJ…seriously? Keep in classy, Southern Cal
OJ symbolized USC like no other from 1967 to 1994.
Has there ever been a more notorious criminal in the history of collegiate football ?
