USC v. UCLA

USC offered a scholarship this weekend to defensive back Quentin Lake of Mater Dei in Santa Ana. Lake is the son of former UCLA defensive back Carnell Lake, a member of the NFL’s 1990’s All-Decade team.

  1. The kid is going to listen to his father i.e. if Mora doesn’t land him – well hello loser…..

  2. The son will right the wrong mistake his father made by going to USC

  3. Quentin, Your decision is open and shut. Become a USC Trojan. The School, the Tradition, the Football Program, the Colossal Opportunities offered a USC graduate not only in Athletics, but Advancement and Meaningful Rewards in the World of Exciting Careers.

  4. An offer is not a LOI. It will be interesting to see what happens. It will come down to the better coaching staff and future playing opportunity.
My crystal ball says don’t count your Quentin until he hatches.

  5. Is he really that good? You can usually tell how good a kid is by looking at who is offering him a scholarship. I don’t see a lot of really big schools offering him. You have to wonder why unless SC sees something in him that nobody else sees.
