Speaking Of Baby Quarterbacks

USC has offered a scholarship to quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei, an 8th grader who will attend St. John Bosco in the fall. By the time he attends college, Sam Darnold will no longer have college eligibility.

  1. Ever hear that version of “Over the Rainbow” where the guy plays a uiagalelei?

  2. Lmao. …Comedy! PLEASE BELIEVE, THIS KID WILL NEVER BE A REGULAR STARTING QUARTERBACK FOR, USC

  3. Goes to jr. high in Upland, will go to Bosco?…40 miles each way with traffic. He’s 15+, so he is a year older than the average 8th grader. Curious how these kids go to these HS so far away. My kid was getting love from some private HS’s that were 10-20 miles away from my house. Said no, unless they provide an Uber driver every day. Guess Bosco got this kid an Uber? lol

    • I turned 15 my sophmore year. When did this “7th Grader” start school? When he was 9?

    • Mater dei , and Santa Margarita high schools have buses that get students from other areas.

      • Yes, but a shuttle from upland? Lol My son is playing for a trinity league school, and played against this kid in passing league this spring. He is a beast with a big arm, I saw him throw a few over 40 yards with ease…A year or two older than the norm, but he did stand out from the other boys..SJB will be tough to beat

  4. wolfman, i think you agree with the Cadre that the most Hapless of the Hopeless are those who keep making the same dumbbell mistakes over and over!!!

whether it’s signing pre-pubescent QB’s, hiring re-tread coaches or appointing AD’s without any experience, Southern Cal, seem to lead the parade of repeat gaffs!!
