USC Morning Buzz: The Baby Quarterback Transfers To El Camino College

SILLS.CACTUSDavid Sills, aka the Baby Quarterback, is transferring from West Virginia where he was playing wide receiver and will start classes at El Camino College in Torrance on Monday. Sills committed to USC as a seventh grader. He was so good West Virginia had him play wide receiver, where he had some success. And now he will be back in Southern California in revive his career as a QB. Can’t get rid of this guy! The move to El Camino was probably orchestrated by his QB guru, Steve Clarkson.

It means Sills, who former USC coach Steve Sarkisian did not really want to attend USC, will now play QB at the same junior college as Sarkisian.

  1. Sark is now playing QB at El Camino? Now that is what I call starting over.

  2. In the real world even the trolls went to school to get an education. Reviving a career is not a class is it?

  3. El Camino just hired one of the better JC head coaches available in, Gifford Lindheim. So the talent is lining up over there, and the starting quarterback position will not be handed to David Sills .

  4. Sark still holds the ECC single game passing yardage record.
Sills has something to shoot for.
